We stayed here on a layover whilst travelling to Singapore. It was a small room with no window so felt a bit claustrophobic. Directions from Helen were very good and we found the place very easily.

Jun 27, 2019We arrived early to Hong Kong International (Website hidden by Airbnb) went straight to Helens (Website hidden by Airbnb) was very easy to find from the explanations from Helen.We were very tired after our long flight from Europe.We hoped to get into the room earlier.But that was not possible.First at 2! ( we were there already at 9.30.We could let our suitcases be in the corridor.And went to the park waiting for the time should be 2 !This is a hostel with many small rooms !No toiletpaper,no towels. The aircondition did nor work,and it was no window there. We could not put a suitcase under the bed because there was a lot of different things from the owner.But closing the suitcases and put it up into the wall,it was okay !

Jun 27, 2019Helen's place is so convenient coz it's just across Austin MTR. There's a 7-11 store across the building. Checking in was easy! Helen provided us with the building code and all the instructions. When we got there, no one answered the door so we had to call the contact number Helen provided. The building guard was nice enough to let us use their phone so we were able to get the door code quickly. When we got inside, our assigned room was open and was ready. The room as small, but it was okay for the price. There was not enough room to move around but it was perfect for budget travelers like me who just need a place to crash in after a long day of touring around. No towels provided but I already knew that so I brought my own. They had a hair dryer inside, adapter, tissues and shampoo and bodywash inside the bathroom. There's also a Flatscreen TV. Bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby! Our room has no window, so if you're claustrophobic this might not be the room for you. Overall, We had a pleasant stay. Will definitely stay here again. Jun 27, 2019This room in Austin Inn was nice deal. Its location is so convenience, you can find drug store, 711, good restaurants, taxi stand, MTR stations nearby. You should try dimdimsum restaurant, Woosung street hawker bazaar, those two were my favorite restaurants there and their price was reasonable. The room size was decent and can fit some people just like described on the listing. I booked 3 rooms for 8 people and we stayed for 5 nights in Austin Inn. We didn't spend much time on the room, just for resting at night, and cleaning ourselves so I think it's really a good deal and the price is pretty reasonable. You can get taxi if you want to get to HKIA fast for around HKD 240-250. I really enjoyed my stay here. Thank you!
Jun 27, 2019這種價錢不能挑剔什麼 但是值得注意的是 1.隔音很差 淺眠的人需要三思 除了外面的汽車噪音明顯之外 走廊的噪音也很明顯 我幾乎整夜無法入眠 2.當我到賓館門口 敲門都沒人回應 我打了房東提供的每一隻電話給我 都沒有人接 我不得以只好打房東的手機 跟他反應沒人開門以及沒有人聽電話 房東只跟我說那就打到通呀 我覺得房東態度很差以及不負責任 可能這對香港人來說是正常的態度 而且房東的國語很不標準 我不是很清楚他在說什麼 幸虧樓下的警衛幫助我我才能進去 房東你大概會覺得我態度也很差 但是為何我會不高興是因為你說"那就打到通啊" 一間旅館不論規模大小 價錢多少 隨時有人開門是很正常的事 當然我不會再入住了 我願意多花點錢住隔音好的地方

Jun 27, 2019I couldn't enter the room for one and half hour, and I waited in the room. I was very sleepy and I wanted to sleep earlier. But I couldn't sleep a lot because of the host. I sent the host a email, but he thinks I am a bad girl. I hope he returned the money and I don't recommend the room.
Jun 27, 2019Very affordable for places in HK, especially with it's own private bathroom. Usually for this price you would be forced to share a room. WiFi is fast. Staff are friendly. To access the hotel it requires a swipe card and then you have your own key to the room, I felt like my items were secure. As an added bonus the outlets were universal so I could plug my electronics straight into the wall, no need for a universal converter. It seems a little disconcerting at first, especially to those not used to HK, as the place is tucked away. That's fairly normal for HK. Follow the directions to get there, as a lot of HK intersections are crossed using tunnels underneath the road, so if you are catching public transport use the directions provided. Really friendly staff. I would stay there again. It's in a nice central spot, close to Temple street for night markets, close to Jordan station which is a lovely central spot.

Jun 27, 2019Helen is very helpful although we didn't manage to see her in person but she responds very quickly on chats. The room is just nice for my sis and i. A bathroom and a bed. Didn't intend to coop in the room anyway, just a place to rest. Location is good too, located nearest to Austin, it's quite central! :) Recommended!
Jun 27, 2019The room was clean and size is ok for Hongkong. However, we have to say that we had cheaper rooms for 17$ in Hongkong which were much more modern, in better locations (Tsim Sha Tsui, Mirador Mansion or Chunking Mansion building) and had windows. We stayed for 3 nights and this room has no window so the air is not really fresh inside.

Jun 27, 2019You can't beat this location, right in the heart of Kowloon and a 2 minute walk to Austin Station. If you manage your expectations for a Hong Kong sized room you'll be happy with this place. Only wish a towel was provided in the shower but I understand the laundry constraints in Hong Kong. Helen was very good at replying to any messages or questions I had. For a short stay right in the heart of the city, this is a great place!
Jun 27, 2019We were sent directions in advance that led us to a door on the opposite end of the floor. Upon calling to clarify, I ended up being yelled at. When we finally arrived, I was told that we were definitely sent the right directions. The room is comfortable enough and located within walking distance of 3 convenient metro stops, but you can hear everything happening out in the hallway, which repeatedly woke us up during our stay. In particular, there was one morning when the phone rang continuously for several hours, with apparently no one around to pick it up. So, if you want a place to rest during the day or sleep when you want, this is not the place for you.

Jun 27, 2019I had a pretty good experience. In the neighbor there was ton of restaurants open very late. Very close to the bus that went directly to the airport for 39 hong money. Also, not so far from the art district.

Jun 27, 2019The room was spacious, location was fine near many restaurants and 7eleven. Metro wasn't too far walking distance basically. Bathroom was ok too but towels should be provided. They don't seem to be cleaning the room very often. There is no storage space in the room for your clothes, no cupboard. Overall its worthed for the price they charge you.

The hot water stops working on first night and called the next morning, waited for almost an hour for someone to take care of this matter. the location is great, near multiple underground stations (Jordan, Kowloon and Austin) and airport express (Kowloon). Room is tiny, can hear ppl in other room talking but clean. Short stay ( 2 nights max ) is ok, but longer not recommend.

Jun 27, 2019Helens appartment is basic, the room is very very small and the bed is hard as a rock. The only advantage is the location, but the area is not the nicest. The room is crampt but ok if you are just seeing the city and need a place to crash.

I could hear people walking and talking in the corridor, but surprisingly, I did not hear any traffic noise etc. My stay here was okay, as it was close to bus stops and the MTR. However, the room was not ideal, too small for what I paid for. I would recommend this place if you won't be spending a lot of time in the room and you want good transport links.

Jun 27, 2019Helen's place was nice and cozy and the location was a plus! It's not exactly the cleanest or the best accommodation but if you're simply looking for a place to sleep then it should do. The checkin instructions and directions were clear and easy to follow. It was a bit cramped for my boyfriend and I and two luggages but we managed. There were a lot of restaurants open late near the accommodation and so many other things were within walking distance.
Jun 27, 2019Our stay in the room was very convenient : the location is perfect, near by the metro station, convenience store and restaurant, and the street night market. Room is small and don't expect too much confort but still OK for sleeping quietly. Air conditioning installed in the room helped a lot knowing the high temperatures and humidity outside !

HOWEVER, the directions for the location of the unit is very misleading. the instructions given after you done the payment did not really tell you where you are staying, which room number or house unit number. it is just mentioned, stairs on the right, walk up 1 floor up and you can see Austin Inn on your right, and followed by the passwords and so on. i tried to find out which house number the host is referring to, IN THE END I ONLY KNEW AFTER I FOUND OUT THAT WE ARE STAYING IN "AUSTIN INN" itself. OMG, we feel cheated and disappointed. I am not a big fan of definition however I believe AirBnb does not offer any staying in an INN. this has clearly violate the purpose of AirBnb. Note: If i am suppose to stay in AUSTIN INN, please mention that "you are expecting to stay in AUSTIN INN." this can really clear the few minutes of talking on the mobile phone with the rude check-in counter person to clarify which house unit i am staying on the 1st floor, ENDED UP ACTUALLY WE ARE STAYING IN "AUSTIN INN." I hope this review of mine serve a good purpose to all especially those who are interested to stay here. Thanks in advance and have and have a nice day.

Jun 27, 2019It was very hard to communicate with the host and the receptionist for this Inn, we requested early check in as it said on the description we could do. The host said ok but when we arrived the maids and receptionist didn't get any information from the host. So we had to wait another 2 hours. We were unable to stay in the room because of the previous guest smoked in the room. This inn is a Motel as it said in Chinese when you arrive at the main entrance.

Jun 27, 2019BOEK DEZE KAMER NIET! Belangrijkste reden is dat er overal schimmel in de kamer zit! Verhuurder trekt zich er weinig van aan gezien haar reactie dat ze het met chloor hadden aangepakt. Kamer wordt aangeboden als 2 persoonskamer maar dit is miet het geval. Het bed is te klein voor een westers persoon (lees: iemand langer dan 1.70meter en zonder enige spieropbouw). Met mijn vriendin lag 1 van ons er gegarandeerd voor de helft uit. 3e reden dat je deze kamer niet zou moeten boeken is het feit dat de AC kapot is en het daarom erg muf is. In combinatie met de schimmel is dit onbewoonbaar. Ik heb samen met mijn vriendin hierdoor last minute een ander hotel moeten boeken.

Jun 27, 2019I have no complains about the hosts, Helen was very comprehensive and she made us a reimbursement without even asking, which was a very nice gesture and we kindly appreciate it. She quickly reply to us regarding about our problems and try to fix things for us. However, about the place, we were very disappointed, since we found things to be quite out-dated from the ones shown in the pictures. Our room had some humidity problems on the wall as well as a slight odor inside the room and bathroom. She told us they are going to fix it asap so, I really hope they put things up to date because at this moment, seems like the have forgotten a bit, keeping the rooms in good conditions. We never expect everything to be brand new, neither to find the place exactly as shown in the pictures, but we do expect to find things in the same conditions as the ones shown in the pictures. The building itself, which has nothing to do with the room, it also a bit rusty and dirty in the common areas, which is quite important for us, but we agree it is not important for everyone. At the end we cancelled and went somewhere else. So, no complains at all about the host, but at this moment, won’t recommend the place, even though is well located and at a “cheap” (for HK standards) price.

Jun 27, 2019helen和她的房子都很棒,房子在非常便利的地方,去往任何地方都很方便,我并不是来香港购物的,我去的地方很杂,但是从这里出发几乎都很方便,距离两个地铁站和很多公交车站都很近,附近步行可到庙街和百老汇影院以及著名的油麻地警署~整体来说是非常有性价比的住处!窗户靠着马路但我依然睡的很好~导航搜索柯士甸宾馆就可以很方便地找到这里~
Jun 27, 2019The place is very conveniently located and very easy to get to & from the airport and also LKF. The only issue is the size of the room. It’s very small but I guess that’s normal in HongKong.

Jun 27, 2019穷游住一晚的话性价比在香港算正常的,没什么问题,位置就在庙街旁,地铁也近,周围比较安静没有杂乱的人,还可以｡但建议的话,两天及以上有点久,还是多加两百找个正常点的,房间还是太小太不透气了,住了两三天后潮湿憋闷的味道受不了,心情会很压抑,最后一晚换了一家四百多的,虽然还是没有窗但空间条件都好了不少心情也通透了,可以正常居住了
Jun 27, 2019The room is small... maybe 9X5ft room and bathroom. Just a room and bathroom. Shower is not in a separate section of the bathroom. No windows in room or bathroom. Check in and out was easy. Location great. Expect what the images show and know it’s hard to capture in photo the small size.
