Get your shopping on at the Princeville shopping center, just 5 minutes down the road. Golfers in your group will love the Makai Golf Course, just a 3-minute walk from the condo. Even if you don’t golf, stop into the clubhouse for a casual breakfast or lunch. For an extra challenge, the Prince Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jr. and named the best in the state, is also next door. When you’re ready for sand and sun, head to the world-famous Hanalei Bay beach, just a 15-minute drive away. If you’re looking for an adrenaline high, Anini Beach is also 15 minutes away and well-known for its snorkeling and wind surfing.

1. Please contact Great Vacation Retreats directly with any questions, maintenance issues or concierge requests. 2. Hawaii has a new smoking law which allows smoking only in designated areas outside of any building, 20 feet away from doors. Our condos and lanais are all non-smoking. Please use the designated areas if you wish to smoke. They are usually located in the parking lot of the building. There is a $300 fine for smoking in our properties and the State of Hawaii may also impose a fine for not smoking in the designated areas. 3. Please wash off all sand from beach gear and your body before re-entering the units. Outside showers are available at most beaches and outside of most properties. Please do not hang beach towels, swimsuits, etc. from lanai chairs / bbqs. 4. Because we are in a tropical environment, there are insects. Please keep all food covered and stored properly. This was a perfect place for us to stay! We are 2 friends who felt like going on a vacation but didn't want the typical resort experience. This condo was a perfect alternative. Plus, it gave us the ability to have our own master bedrooms and bathrooms without having to share - which added both comfort and luxury that was appreciated. Very clean! A short run to the beach in Princeville or a short drive to Hanalei Bay. Lots of windows, which I LOVE and the views are quite lovely!
Jun 27, 2019Fantastic property, excellent furnishings and quality appliances, I think we counted 4 juicers in the cupboard. Close to Princeville and some of the best snorkelling on the island, we were up early most mornings snorkelling with turtles at Tunnels and Hideaway Beaches. Good communication leading up to the stay, and the hire car included was great. Pool is shared with the other condos however was never busy. Would recommend this to groups travelling to Hawaii who would like a relaxing luxury trip, and would come back to stay if we have the opportunity.
Jun 27, 2019Amy was really responsive and helpful making it easy to make up my mind and the reservation. Check in and check out were seamless with a code to access keys. The villa, a vacation rental, is really nice, spacious, has amazing views (you can even see a waterfall from the distance), and everything is clean and good quality (just like int he pictures or even better). The vila is part of a quiet gated community of about 30 vilas. Has 2 bedrooms, 3 balconies, washer and drier, AC and a very nice kitchen. They also have beach chairs, a cooler and buggy boards which came in handy. Great for relaxing, cooking at come, enjoying the balcony, and having a very comfortable and homey stay.

Jun 27, 2019Amy was a fantastic host. She is very prompt at answering emails, and is very helpful with planning activities while in Princeville and on the island. The location of the condo is very private and quaint in a luxurious area. The best par about it was how clean the entire place was. It made the stay very comforting and relaxing. The condo is very close to Hanalei Bay and the gorgeous Napali coast which we loved much more than the south shore. The description of the condo was very accurate to our experience although we were a group of 6 adults and the 3rd bedroom is a closed off office with a pullout couc (which we knew). However, our only complaint was that this room is not sufficient for two adults. The pullout couch is full of springs, and when it is pulled out, there is barely any room to walk around, open the entry door or the armoire to access clothes. Also, it does not have A/C, and even with the oscillating fan it is still extremely hot and uncomfortable. It is better suited for children or kept as an office only. We didn't spend much time in the condo as we were eager to get out and explore the beautiful area. Otherwise, the condo was spectacular
Jun 27, 2019Während unseres Aufenthaltes hat einfach alles gestimmt! Die Villa ist sehr geräumig, sauber und gemütlich und die Aussicht ist toll. Im Vergleich zu den teuren Resorts in nächster Umgebung ist auch der Preis angemessen. Wir haben dort alles vorgefunden, was man im Alltag benötigt: Waschmaschine und Trockner inklusive Waschmittel, reichlich Geschirr, Badetücher usw. Wir haben zu viert dort übernachtet und hatten reichlich Platz, da zu den beiden Schlafzimmern je ein großes Badezimmer mit WC und ein begehbarer Kleiderschrank gehört. Es wäre durchaus auch denkbar zu sechs Personen dort zu wohnen, da es ein weiteres Zimmer mit einem ausklappbaren Sofa gibt. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und würden die Villa jederzeit wieder buchen!

Jun 27, 2019This is the best Airbnb experience I have had! The property was awesome; I feel the actual house / townhouse is a lot bigger and newer than what's in the photos. The rooms are huge. And it was very clean, in a very nice and quite neighborhood. It's also at a very convenient location; easy access to stores, beaches, and my fav hotel for breakfast!! Amy is super nice and easy to work with. We had a last minute change for our rental car and she was very quick to respond. I def recommend it to everyone who is looking for a nice and relaxing vacation.
Jun 27, 2019My wife and I had a marvelous time staying at this condo for a week long vacation in Kauai. It is hard to believe, but the condo actually looked even BETTER in person than it did in photos. It was also chock full of considerate amenities like snorkel gear, boogie boards, coolers, puzzles, board games, and more. It was also stocked with all necessary supplies for living, such as dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, tons of kitchen appliances, etc. It was nice being able to cook, clean, and do laundry in this luxury condo. This condo is air conditioned, which was a must have even when we visited in the later months (Oct/Nov). The condo came with a car rental included, which was very useful and hassle free. For those of you who want a personal connection with your airbnb host, you should know that this place is rented out by a company called Great Vacation Rentals rather than a specific individual/couple. I didn't have any issues with Great Vacation Rentals (they left us mostly alone), but it might be a different feel than what you hoped for.

Jun 27, 2019This was our first experience with Airbnb and I have to say it exceeded our expectations. We loved this Villa, it made us feel like we were home and welcome. The house was far better then the photos it was clean and had everything we needed including a lovely welcoming cooler. The views from this location were breath taking we loved waking up every morning to a view of the mountains and amazing rainbows. If you are planning a visit to Kauai, which I highly recommend, there is truly no better place to stay. Near grocery store and short drive to town. We did not want to leave and will never stay in a hotel again! Thank you for making our trip perfect!

Jun 27, 2019We had such a great time. The condo is gorgeous and so clean. We comfortably had five people stay. Two master suites so nobody is left unsatisfied in their accommodations. They had a bunch of stuff for us to use at the (Website hidden by Airbnb) rentals needed!! These guys were fast when I needed a last minute car rental change. When we come back to Kauai we will be staying here again!!
Jun 27, 2019This was a well appointed townhouse. Washer/dryer, well equipped, air conditioner, and the location was perfect to get to activities, restaurants anything we wanted to do was close by. Good value for the cost! We definitely will be back. Actually, we didn't want to leave.

Jun 27, 2019This location could not have been more perfect! 30mins to the Na Pali coast, 10min walk to Queens Bath and Hideaway Beach and so close to food shops. The area is so well kept and beautiful, waking up every morning to the mountain view was a dream. The house was so big, clean and had all the essentials for cooking and beach gear. Could not recommend this place enough - it was spot on!

Jun 27, 2019This was a huge beautiful, beautiful condo! Definitely a " Wow" factor when you walk in. The view of the mountains were spectacular. The grounds were very pretty and well maintained. The bathrooms were luxurious (loved the soaps and shampoos). Terrific location, quick drive to Hanalei Bay. The garage was very small, a tight fit for most cars. Overall a lovely place.
Jun 27, 2019Gorgeous and quiet, this lovely AIR CONDITIONED townhome was the perfect spot for our business/holiday stay. Luxurious beds, plenty of linens, fans to silence the chickens (!!) and friendly, welcoming neighbors. Kitchen has all you need and buffet full of board games and puzzles was a nice respite on a rainy afternoon. Garage has miscellaneous beach gear and parking access was easy. Walk the nearby trails and even to Queens Bath. Less than a mile from the St. Regis, if applicable. Hanalei restaurants are 10 min away. We loved the Kalypso and the Bread Co. Anini Beach is short drive (ideal for kids) and Napoli coast is stunning hike and beaches in the opposite direction. We will definitely book again.
Jun 27, 2019This condo is amazing! It is sparkling clean and has a ton of room! If you are looking for a getaway with your family, this is a great place! With that being said, there isn’t much to do in the Princeville area. My husband and I found ourselves driving to the west or south part of the island everyday which was approximately an hour drive. However, a rental car was provided which made everything convenient. Be aware of a few things, 1) this group prefers to communicate via e-mail, not the AirBNB chat. 2) they give you a car with the company Alamo. I couldn’t figure out why everyone was running me over at the airport to get to the car rental area. I later found out it is because cars are “first come, first serve”. So if you want a nicer vehicle, you MUST get there early. All in all, awesome place to stay, just not a lot to do in the area.

It’s a short drive to many restaurants and beaches and driving over to the south side of the island to have some adventures is so easy. I highly recommend this place and Kauai!
Jun 27, 2019Sparkling clean, special comforts, and perfect for families or singles. This is our second stay and we love this home. Our kids have plenty of room to spread out, beds are super comfy, and the kitchen is loaded for easy cooking if desired. The home is sparkling clean and we never feel like we are living in someone else’s place. Plenty of board games for those evening at home and plenty of beach toys and equipment do you don’t have to provide your own. Location ideal for easy access to shopping, yummy eats, drinks, massage, coffee. Trails to run on and super clean pool.

Jun 27, 2019This home is clean, clean, clean and comfortably accommodated my family of five. It had everything we needed to feel right at home. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet stay while still being very close to a bunch of amazing North Shore attractions. Eg: Hanalei Bay was a 5 min drive and Queen's Bath was only a 3 min drive. There was also a grocery store, Foodland, that we stopped at countless times to either pick up a quick breakfast before an early hike or ingredients to take back to cook dinner. All in all, this was the perfect stay for my parents' retirement trip.
Jun 27, 2019Pros: The interior of Great Vacations Retreats' condo was much more lavish and beautiful than we expected. The inside is quite accommodating, with a pleasing, spacious layout and comfortable beds. The hot tub was relaxing and quiet. We could hear the sound of the ocean at night. It was pleasant to watch the birds on the rooftops from the outside upper balcony. Washer and dryer were large and functioned well. Laundry detergent was in the cupboard. The car rental was easy. We had no issues picking up or returning the car. Everything we needed for the beach was provided: snorkel equipment, beach towels, surf board, cooler . . .Cons: The pool could have been warmer. The gated community had a lot of neighbors and light on every door that made it hard to see the stars at night though we eventually discovered we could walk up the road to the golf course and walk that path at night, which was nice. The biggest concern was the location, which required significant driving every day to get to the things we wanted to do such as hike at Waimea Canyon, take a boat tour of the Na' Pali Coast, and visit Poipu Beach. We drove a lot because of where we stayed. This is a beautiful place to bring the family if you want to do activities near Princeville.
Jun 27, 2019This place was truly amazing and definitely met our expectations. The townhouse was large with master suites on each level. The interior was beautifully decorated and the beds, couch and chairs we comfy. The complex itself was quiet, offered beautiful views of the mountains and was less than 5 minutes from the Princeville shopping center. The only downside was the internet was spotty at times. Overall though, it was a fantastic stay and we’d absolutely visit again.
