I stayed for 4 nights, the first day I got a map and a quick explanation of the city and the neighborhood, so I was quickly in my way to see the city. The neighborhood were safe in day and night, and very well located, one block to metro station, two blocks from Nathan Rd and shopping right in the doorstep of the building. The place is very clean and well equipped with air condition and hot water. The rules are very clear and simple to follow. I loved my stay.
Jun 27, 2019Very nice hosts. Nice location in the middle of all "hustle & bustle" of Hong Kong. Clean and neat room, bathrooms and common areas. Not so much privacy in the bedroom, as the walls don't go all the way to the ceiling and a bit noisy from the street. But all in all great value for money and a great place to meet new friends. Highly recomended if you are the social type.
Jun 27, 2019This was my first Air BNB experience so I didn't really know what to expect. With that being said, I was very impressed with Carmen and Charlie as they were both extremely accommodating and friendly. To begin, my flight was actually pushed back and so instead of arriving around 7pm, my friend and I ended up arriving 2 hours later (9pm). We mentioned this to Carmen & Charlie immediately and both were very understanding and even picked us up at the bus station because they were worried that we were going to get lost :) #YAY. In addition, both hosts were very helpful and gave us a map/directions so that we could get around HK. They gave us honest feedback on what places to go to when one travels to HK and gave recommendations on places to eat and shop. In terms of location, we stayed in Mongkok and the apartment was actually right in the middle of ladies market, which were both convenient and lively. The apartment was clean and rules of the home were reiterated upon arrival, which served as a good reminder. The room itself was definitely large enough for 2 people to live in, but I may be biased because my friend and I are both rather small and we enjoy the simplicity of a smaller room. If you're a larger person, you might enjoy a bigger room but I don't think large rooms are very common in HK to begin with. By the way, there is no elevator to get to the 4th floor (where you will be staying) so I hope you packed light and is ready for a short workout everyday! The description that Carmen and Charlie provided on their profile was definitely accurate but I think additional information might be helpful such as the number of showers (they had 2!), number of actual rooms they had, as well as the high potential of living with other fellow Air BNB'ers (as this might be a turn off for some people who are looking into this space). Other than that, I loved living in this space and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to live in a traditional yet cute little home while staying in HK. Both Carmen and Charlie are super sweet and both tried their very best to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I plan on staying in touch with the both of them :)
Jun 27, 2019The host is nice but we had issues with our agreement and she tried to over charge us which lead us to several awkward moments and unpleasant moments during out trip. We had to get Airbnb involved in the end to resolve the solution to our satisfactory. The location is in the ladies market which is very lively and close to the MTR station. The place has a nice clean shower. The rooms have zero privacy. Her assistant Charlie is really friendly and helpful. He is usually at the hostel and is easy to contact when there are any concerns.
Jun 27, 2019Carmen is a very nice host, though we were coming late due to the delayed flight, she was still there and waiting for us. As for the room, it's really a unique experience; very old fashion, which is just like traditional HongKong style--- you can hear others' voice, you can even talk to them from your room! You can also make friends easily and share each other's experience, travel information...etc. With brand new decoration, we feel the whole place is clean and tidy. Downstairs environment is convenient for everything, especially no need to walk too long for food hunting. Very good for backpackers, but with heavy luggage, then it's a good opportunity to train muscles. 4F/5F will make people breathless. Therefore, try to be light if want to stay there!

Jun 27, 2019位于旺角波鞋街,晚上依然很热闹,不会担心回得玩了就会街上没人的问题｡楼下饮食摊位､超市､万宁等商店一应俱全,附近还有书店､电子产品店等,非常方便｡Carmen人很好,非常有礼貌,交谈很愉快,希望再有机会去香港入住她家｡

Jun 27, 2019very near to the subway station, right at the heart of mongkok busy street. totally recommend this place to stay for those who like sneakers; it's just 2 blocks away from the sneakers street. you will never get hungry here - plenty of restaurants and stalls around the neighborhood. carmen is a very nice host! this place is clean and i especially like the bathroom, haha! those who like vintage building would love this place. the only one down side is that it is at the 4th floor with no elevator so it would be better to pack light. :)

Jun 27, 2019位置很好!但是房间是两个人一起的,房间和房间之间没有完全隔开,晚上回去晚了会不好意思开灯,就只能摸黑了｡但是只是睡一觉不影响啦!总体还是不错的~

Jun 27, 2019有史以来最糟糕的一次民宿,没有之一屁大的地方,三个房间,木式推门,晚上想上个厕所都要很小心的拉门,不然会发出很大的噪声!隔音也没有的!房间脏乱不堪,床还没有看守所的大,跟住在火柴盒里一样,腿都伸不直.!男房东态度恶劣,凶神恶煞一样的!隔壁一个黑人整晚不睡觉,坐在客厅,开着灯,上面都透光的,关键是狐臭很严重!!
