The condo is located on Paoakalani Avenue in the heart of Waikiki. It’s half a block from the best end of Waikiki Beach, right by the calm waters of the break wall. Duke’s Statue, considered central Waikiki, is a 7-minute stroll away. Kaimana, Queens and Diamond Head beaches are less touristy and within easy reach of the condo. Waikiki’s buzz of activity begins on the doorstep, the building is blessed to have an ABC store, cafes, coffee shops including a Starbucks, food trucks, restaurants, bars and retail shopping with seconds. Guests are well positioned to visit Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, Kapiolani Park, Diamond Head Crater and KCC Farmers Markets (Saturday 7:00-11:00am). Diamond Head Road and Monsarrat Avenue are streets within walking distance that offer spectacular ocean lookouts and local neighborhood shops. This condo is in the heart of buzzing Waikiki and does receive traffic noise. We provide earplugs to assist, but would not recommend staying if you are a light sleeper. Room rates are inclusive of the Hawaii general excise tax (4.5% on Oahu) and transient accommodations tax (10.25% statewide).

The seaside city of Waikiki is accessible on foot, and the key areas of attraction are within a comfortable walking distance from the condo. Waikiki Beach is less than 2-minutes easy walk. Hiring a vehicle is a fantastic way to explore the rest of the island, as long as you are comfortable driving on the right side of the road. Rental cars can be picked up at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (formerly Honolulu International Airport) or in Waikiki. There is a Hertz Car Rental depot at Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort at 2424 Kalakaua Avenue, 7-minutes walk from the apartment. Our stay includes free undercover parking, which is a huge bonus because parking in Waikiki is expensive. Hotels and parking stations will charge between USD20.00-USD40.00 per night. Shared or private shuttles can be pre-booked to take you from the Airport to Waikiki hotels. The closest hotel to our condo is next door at “Hyatt Place Waikiki”.
