Our host was very welcoming and accomodating. Owen was very friendly and easy to get in contact with when necessary. Our space was clean and very comfortable. The location is in the heart if waikiki so very close to everything bus stops, restaurants, shops, and most Importantly THE beach!! What I also loved about this is is that they offer free parking! This saved us a ton of money. There is also a grocery store right across the street. Loved this place and would definitely stay here again.
Jun 27, 2019Jan and Owen were great. They made us feel at home, were always available and gave us a few tips on what to do around Waikiki. The apartment is pretty good and the location is amazing. Not to mention the parking spot, since parking can be quite expensive in Waikiki. Definitely recommended.
Jun 27, 2019Owen was a great host and willing to accommodate our schedule even though we checked in rather late! One thing that rather caught us off guard was the bare bones accommodations. It's still a great value, but as one of the most inexpensive places to stay on Waikiki you do get what you pay for. (Keep in mind that the free parking is worth easily $20/day.) While it has a kitchen, there is no microwave and no utensils, dishes, or pots and pans. We got some aluminum pans to do some cooking in. Also, the toilet looks like it was designed for a child. And while it's not on the list of amenities, lack of WiFi is unusual. Also, there was construction on the buildings next door and the equipment rolled by right outside our front door, making it impossible to sleep in on a weekday in October 2015. In hindsight it may not have been the best place for us because we didn't spend a lot of time in Waikiki. But if you want to walk to the beach or shopping, this is an excellent location!
Jun 27, 2019The location of the condo is perfect for an afternoon beach-side walk or shopping. It is right by the Wakiki and a grocery store is located just opposite to the street. Ross is about 5-minute walk away; so it the Apple store. The condo has the right size with the right equipment and the actuality is the same as the listed descriptions.
Jun 27, 2019Owen & Jan were awesome and the place was perfect, it was super clean and looked exactly like what the photos show.. The location is unreal, two blocks "3 minute" walk to the beach and the parking spot was awesome as parking a rental car in Waikiki can be very expensive in its self..

Easy walk to beach, restaurants, shopping. Great location to enjoy Waikiki & parking perfect to take off and discover the rest of the island. Suprised to see the cute pool & bbq area.
Jun 27, 2019I used to live in Honolulu and this was a perfect location for my family to come by and pick us up. It was close to the beach and close to the food pantry (a little grocery store) walking distance to a lot of things, city bus stop not far. The condo was warm and cozy, and it was perfect! Owen and Jan are very nice people and easy to talk to. If you have questions or need anything they response right away. My mom and I enjoyed our stay there! Thank you for making it an awesome vacation!
Jun 27, 2019We loved this place and highly recommend it. It's comfortable and in a great location and close to everything you'll ever need. Owen was more than welcoming and full of great local knowledge. He's prompt to get back to you if you have any queries and regularly checks in to see how you're going. There is now wifi available which is always handy when you're travelling.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was exactly what I needed. A good sized studio in a small block in a great location. The studio was clean and the air conditioning worked well. There was even a pool and laundry room. It was a perfect trip, except for the weather :)

The condo was exactly as listed - comfortable, clean, and in a great location. And the free parking is a such a bonus. I highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a place to stay in Waikiki!
Jun 27, 2019From the moment Owen clicked in to welcome me to his and Jan condo all was good! Great place just 3 blocks from Waikiki! Great location if you want to surf everyday and the Food Pantry is less than 150 feet away! If you rent a car, the parking here is unreal, it's right under your room, no need to wander in circles looking for a place in Waikiki! The surprising thing is that it's quiet, no noisy residences just typical early morning dumpsters cleaning up and some construction, but hey you don't come to Hawaii to miss the mornings or sunsets. Clean condo, could use a microwave but I eat local so if you need one, eat local! Nice little pool, no kids..yes! Out going mail box for postcards and a great A/C if your not use to Tradewinds sleeping. Come visit Owen and Jan and enjoy a great landing pad right in the middle of Waikiki with Happiness!
Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Owen and Jan's place for a week in December 2015. The place was as described, very comfortable and well located. I only met Owen. He was very helpful and welcoming, gave me lots of useful information and even provided some detergent and water bottles. He was also very respectful of my privacy. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Waikiki beach, whether for work or vacation.

Jul 27, 2019Their place was really good! Had an amazing experience staying on Oahu, and happy that I stayed at this place. Its was very important for me to have a kitchen and stove, so I made sure that they have all the utensils and pots too. They had everything I needed, and were willing to help me if i needed something else! I arrived earlier so they let me check in earlier too, which was a big plus. There is a construction going on during the week days, which didn't bother me much, since I was leaving apartment early in the morning and coming back to the place after they were done, but I would consider that if you are planning taking a nap during the day time. However, I want to say Thank you to Owen and Jan for helping me to get one of the best experiences in my life!
Jun 27, 2019Owen and Jan are wonderful hosts from the point you arrive. They live in the building, and thus are quite responsive if you need/want anything (i.e., extra cooking equipment). They also are happy to offer sightseeing tips, and Owen even told me about some great spots to surf! The property description and photos are spot on. The space is very clean, and I felt very safe (especially as a girl traveling solo). Location is excellent- minutes to the beach, and there is a Food Pantry (grocery store) and coffee shop literally across the street. Can't beat the included parking spot and pool on site. Bed is super comfortable. Tradewinds from open lanai and front door keep the space cool and fresh- I did not even need the a/c though it works as noise cancellation at night if needed. Definitely recommend this property, and I would stay here again. Owen & Jan, mahalo nui loa!!
Jun 27, 2019英語を心配していたのですが､ｵｰｴﾝさんは少し日本語もお話しできたので､大丈夫でした｡ ｾｷｭﾘﾃｨｰもちゃんとしてました｡ お部屋はとても清潔で広く､使いやすかったです｡ ﾜｲｷｷのど真ん中なので､ﾋﾞｰﾁもﾊﾞｽ停もすぐで､どこに行くにもかなり便利でした｡ すぐ向かいにﾌｰﾄﾞﾊﾟﾝﾄﾘｰがあるのもよかったです｡ｷｯﾁﾝが付いてるので自炊もできました｡ 駐車場付きなので､ﾚﾝﾀｶｰも置けます! 次回もぜひここに泊まりたいと思います｡ ｵｰｴﾝさんご夫婦にも親切にしていただき､ありがとうございました(*^^*)
Jun 27, 2019Owen was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome from the day we arrived. He ensured we always had what we needed and was very friendly not to mention quite knowledgable about the area. We loved the condo and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was very clean and spacious and had a lovely little balcony. The condo was fully equipped with a kitchen and there was also laundry facilities on the premises which was very handy. The accomodation is perfectly located close to all that Waikiki has to offer. Only a couple of blocks walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. If you have a car the use of the undercover parking spot was extremely convinient. We would definitely stay here again and cannot speak more highly of Owen as a host. We highly recommend this accomodation. Thanks again Owen for a fantastic stay. Cheers.

Jun 27, 2019The Condo was exactly as pictured and in a great location, Waikiki is so walkable it would be hard to say any location isn't prime. We only met Owen and he was very accommodating and quick to reply from the moment we booked. The apartment has everything you need, and if we felt we needed anything Owen was totally approachable and would have helped. The wifi worked well for us (better near the balcony that other places). Awesome to have a fridge and stove and we used them since the grocery store is across the street. The construction across from the building was loud in the mornings but if you turn the AC on then it muffles it out, and the construction looks to be wrapping up soon anyways. There is no view from the Condo, but the beach and the mountains/canal are so close. The parking was a big plus, we recommend using it and seeing a bit of the island! The building, like much of Waikiki does show its age a bit, but that is to be expected. there was lots of storage, and the apartment had a number of basic things for guests to use. The unit had a nice couch and TV to relax and unwind with after a busy day of Island exploring. Totally recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed in Owen & Jan for six days. Owen & Jan were awesome, and so was their place. We came late on March 24th, and Owen welcomed us with a short introduce to his unit and BEERS!!!!!!!! After a long flight, it was much better than what we could expect. He gave us a lot of advices, where to go, what to eat, etc. in Honolulu. When we entered the unit, we were surprised once again, because it looked exactly like in the pictures, but somehow better, larger, and more comfortable. It has almost everything you need in honolulu: beside cooking stuffs, showers,... it also has a small surfing board, snorkeling tools for two people. One of another plus is the parking lot and the location, grocery stores, beaches, coffees, restaurants, are extremely close and in walk distances. During our stay, Owen was always responsive, when we needed anything. Actually, we were a little bit careless, so we bothered him a lot, but he was always friendly and extremely helpful. If you have a chance you should also visit Owen in the farmers market. His cake was awesome! All in all, if you are looking for a place, in the heart of Waikiki, with extremely friendly host, a free parking lot and everything ready for your adventure, this is the place you will choose.
Jun 27, 2019Would absolutely recommend staying here! Great location right in the heart of the Waikiki area, plenty of great restaurants, shops, and the beach all within very short walking distance. Also having your own parking stall right downstairs was very convenient. Owen and Jan were outstanding hosts - extremely nice and personable, and always available and willing to help out with anything in the apartment or offer good recommendations for any food/shopping/activities in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Jun 27, 20192回目の滞在です! 今回もとてもきれいにお掃除されていて､広々使えました｡ ｽｰﾊﾟｰのﾌｰﾄﾞﾊﾟﾝﾄﾘｰも10m程の距離にあるのでとても便利で､ｷｯﾁﾝも使いやすかったです｡ ﾜｲｷｷのちょうど真ん中にあるのでどこに行くにも便利で､ﾋﾞｰﾁにも歩いて5分程で行けるので､ﾛｹｰｼｮﾝがかなりお気に入りです｡ 駐車場もついて､このﾛｹｰｼｮﾝでこのお値段はかなりいいと思います｡ また次ﾊﾜｲに来る時はおじゃましたいと思います! ありがとうございました｡

Jun 27, 2019It was so fantastic staying in Owen's house! It seems like that i'm at home everyday. The locate is the heart of Waikiki. It takes 5 min. on foot. There are everything for living so i didn't need anything to buy! The best thing is the own parking lot #8. It is only for you! I firmly believe that i'm gonna stay his house next time again. —————————————————— 여기서 6박을 했는데 마치 집에 있는것처럼 편안했구요 집주인이 엄청 친절합니다. 위치는 와이키키비치랑 걸어서 5분정도 이구요 충분히 걸어다닐만 해요~! 집바로앞에 홈플러스 익스프레스정도 되는 마트가있어 맥주와 간식거리를 사기에 좋았고 주변에 맛집들이 있어 밥먹기에 좋았습니다! 집이 깨끗하고 생필품들이 이미 구비되있어 살게 없습니다! 개인 주차장이 따로있어 주차에대한 스트레스를 받지 않을수 있었구요 호텔에서 주차비를 30불정도 받고 세금도 따로 받는다고 생각하면 이방은 엄청 싸다고 볼수 있습니다. 주차장은 정말 저말도 아무도 주차를 못해서 진짜 편했습니다. 어제 한국 도착했는데 또가고 싶네요ㅠ 하와이 너무 좋습니다! 다음에 또가면 오웬집에서 또 묵을거에요~! 편안한 여행되세오~! 정말 여기 강추합니다!
Jun 27, 2019We had a great time staying at Owen's, the apartment has everything we needed, very clean, as it appeared on air BnB. Very close to buses, supermarket across the road and easy walking distance to the beach, shops etc. make it a value for money place to stay. Your own car park and a pool are a bonus as well! Jul 27, 2019We stayed at Owen's and Jan's and had an excellent experience! Jan met us as soon as we arrived and gave us a tour of the apartment. She can't be any friendlier! Jan also shared with us a lot of tips as where to go and what to do, this helped us first timers to get to know Oahu better. The condo is just as pictured. We found it cozy, super clean, and it's in a really handy location as described in the listing! We were also happy to find things that were not in the listing, such as a microwave and a kettle, sure did help us to fix a quick breakfast everyday during our stay. When in doubt ask Jan, chances are she would have the things you need in the condo! Parking is just downstairs (covered). Laundry facility is also downstairs in the building. Groceries is just right across the street. Waikiki beach and plenty of restaurants are only minutes walk away. Marukame is like 5 minutes walk away, and we went there twice during our stay! Ala Moana shopping center is about 10 mins easy drive away. Bottom line is ... we were extremely happy with Jan and Owen and their place, and will not hesitate to recommend or to go stay there again in the future!
Jun 27, 2019Owen's wife, Jan came to greet us on our arrival. She gave us a mini tour and even told us about places to go in Honolulu. The no shoes policy kept the place clean and it was nice for 2 people. They also have some snorkeling gear and beach boards to use for the kids.
Jun 27, 2019Location, location, Fantastic, plus the ability to park your vehicle, only blocks from the beach, this is a gem if you want to be in the Heart of the Action with a down home feel! Also felt very secure. There are laundry facilities downstairs, which is always a benefit. Super nice hosts. I would stay here again!

He went out of his way to accommodate early check-in, the place is neat, convenient, well kept and equipped with a few handy extras for work and leisure travel (beach towels, iron and board, laundry detergent). Really liked staying there - Owen was very helpful, respectful and responsive.

Jun 27, 2019It was a pleasure to stay at Owens! He was great with communication and ran home from work to let me in early. The location - right across the street from the only Supermarket in Waikiki; two blocks to the ocean and the bus stop a half block away. The unit was great, clean and really functional! It had everything that the description said it did along with a lanai. There is a nice swimming pool and accessible, affordable laundry area. Would definately recommend Owen's to my friends.
Jun 27, 2019This was my girlfriend's and my first stay at an AirBnB and it set the bar extremely high. Owen's condo was wonderful and the location was perfect. It had everything we could ask for and more and far exceeded our expectations. If I ever return to Oahu, I'll definitely be checking to see if this listing is open - I just don't imagine I could find a better place at such a reasonable price!

Jun 27, 2019Owen is the nicest person! We had great communication, he was very flexible with our check in and check out and we got a chance to talk, he is awesome! The check in instructions were very easy and after getting there at 1am that's all we wanted. The apartment is neat, everything clean and tidy with everything we needed. There's a supermarket right across the street that was still opened when we got there, so that was a huge plus. It's also a walking distance to everything in Waikiki, the beach, bars and restaurants and the famous stores. Parking is hard in that area, so you'll be happy to have a garage there! We couldn't be happier with the place and we're definitely reaching out to Owen next time we're in town!

Jun 27, 2019This was my second stay at Owen & Jan's place. Owen & Jan are friendly, communicative and helpful- wonderful hosts that are easy to access. The space is quite comfortable, and front door and lanai allow for tradewinds to come through, thus, little need for a/c. The included on-site parking spot is a great and rare find. The space is a very short walk to the beach and ala wai canal. A grocery store is literally across the street. Overall, I had a great stay and felt very safe in this space. Mahalo nui loa and a hui hou, Owen & Jan!

It was very convenient having a kitchen to be able to cook as well. Communication with Owen was fast and effortless. He is very accommodating. The apartment was clean and spacious. We would definitely book with Owen again!!

Jun 27, 2019하와이는 초행길이 아니어서, 숙소가격도 비싸고 주차도 대부분 무료가 아닌걸 알고있었기에, 과연 이집이 머무를만한 곳인가에 대해 고민을 많이 했었어요. 결론부터 말하자면 대만족이구요 제가느낀 장점은 아래와 같아요 1. 숙소 위치 엄청좋아요. 저녁마다 와이키키, 로얄하와이안센터 쪽으로 걸어서 산책을 갔었어요. 2. 무료전용주차칸 여행내내 렌트를 했었는데 숙소에 무료 전용주차칸이 있어서 늦게와도 주차걱정은 전혀없었구요. 3. 세탁관련 건물1층에 세탁기, 건조기(각 1달러, 75센트)가 비치되어있어서 세탁하는데도 불편함이 없었어요. 숙소에 세제도 있어서 별도로 세제 구매는 하지않았어요 그 외에도 간단한 양념류, 물놀이용품(부기보드, 스노클장비)도 다 구비되어 있어서 매우 편하게 지내다 왔구요, 다음에 하와이가면 또 머무르고싶네요~!!

Besides, it only takes couple minutes to walk to the plaza, shopping centers and all kinds of restaurant!!! Highly recommend Marukame Udon which is only 5 mins walking distance! Owen and Jan are very nice too! The condo is clean and cozy with a full kitchen and balcony!

Jun 27, 2019We had a good stay in Oahu at Owen's. The parking was really convenient and we appreciated that. The location of the apartment was very convenient as well - close to the beach, lots of shops and food. It was a good mix of very walkable and, because of the parking spot, it was still very easy to drive where we needed to go on Oahu. The apartment is big enough for 2 people, and had the basics that we needed, but the view isn't great and the ambiance isn't anything special. That being said, Owen's place definitely served its purpose and we had reasonably priced, clean place to stay in a great location.
Jun 27, 2019Owen and Jan were so helpful, organized and welcoming. You can't get a better place than this in the center of Waikiki! The highlights- location- within 5 minutes walk to all the action- beach, restaurants, nightlife, activities! Parking space was essential! Home- clean with everything you need! Great for a long or short stay! I hope to be back again to Oahu and hope to stay at their place again! Highly recommended!
Jun 27, 2019You cannot go wrong with Owen's place! It was very clean and is located right in the middle of everything you're looking to do in Waikiki. i.e. Restaurants, shopping and the beach. He was very informative and communicated each and every detail about accessing his place and things to do in the area. Looking forward to staying there again! Great People!!
Jun 27, 2019Great place to be! This place is nothing crazy but very cozy and feels like home. Free parking is a plus here but it's best to park in backwards. Just a block from there is a shopping mall. In the evening, the area is very lively but when your in the apartment it's pretty quite. Love that there is a grocery store across the street and beach is walking distance. So many things to do around there! Just not enough time!!! Next time we go back to Waikiki we definitely would book here again. Thanks Owen for being a great host!

Jun 27, 2019It was our first Airbnb stay but was great. We are glad it was Owen's. He is very nice- so helpful! The room was very comfy, all equipped including snorkels and stuff. Jun 27, 2019The room was the best I had ever stayed before. First, the location is really perfect! It's close to Waikiki beach and main shopping road. There is a free parking so if stay with car, everyone can go somewhere. To diamond head it's take 10 mins and 5 mins walk to Waikiki beach. And Mr. Owen is so wonderful host. He always help us and make our honeymoon perfect. I'll come back to this room again! Thank you for everything. It was so comfortable! I love it :P

Jun 27, 2019Owen is a fantastic host with a lovely condo. He messaged me every few days to see if anything was needed from him or for the unit. The supermarket across the street is a huge plus if you plan on doing your own cooking. If you plan on renting a car during your visit, the included parking spot will significantly save you money that would have been spent on hotel valets. Take that saved money and splurge it on a nice dinner in nearby Waikiki. Overall. Great value. Great host. Great location.

It includes parking, the location directly across from the International Marketplace makes it easy access to all of Waikiki and the hospitality Owen extended. The initial instructions for the check-in process was spot on and easy to understand. Once into my stay Owen for very hospitable and timely with changing linens and providing me with anything I needed. A warm Aloha to Owen!!
Jun 27, 2019We loved our stay at Owen's place! Check-in process was quick and easy to understand. We met Jan on our way up, and she gave us a very warm welcome. The location was great! Food Pantry right across the street was so convenient to pick up groceries, and Marukame Udon is right next door. We rented a car so having a designated, free, covered parking space was a huge plus! It was so easy to communicate with Owen. He made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Whenever we are staying in the Waikiki area again, we will be looking up Owen's place!
Jun 27, 2019owen의 숙소는 와이키키 중심가에있는 힐튼 가든 호텔뒤에 있는 작은 콘도형아파트입니다. 쇼핑하기에 가깝고 천천히 걸어서 7분정도면 해변에 갈수있고. 3분거리에 트롤리타는 버스정거장이잇어서편리한데다.숙소는 사진그대로이고 깨끗하며 와이키키중심가인데도 시끄럽지않으며. 1층에 세탁기와 건조기 1달러에 이용가능하고 no resort fee 와 free parking 까지 있어서 최고입니다! 둘이서 지내기에 딱 좋았고. 호스트가 최고로 친절한데다 한국에도 많이 와본 베태랑입니다
Jun 27, 2019We loved this unit!!! There wasn't anything we didn't like or found "wrong". The location is right in the heart of Waikiki and excellent to walk all over. If you want a day at the beach, its a short walk directly through the International Marketplace and then across the street. We'll definitely be booking this place again...and again!

Jun 27, 2019The place is exactly as described! It’s literally less than a block away from the main Waikiki Beach area! The grocery shop is just across the street! Owen had been a super host. He greeted us with pineapple cake and gave us tips of exploring Waikiki. He was also very accommodating. Our flight was at midnight and Owen let us have a late check out and continued to use the parking stall for the day. We highly recommend his place!

Jun 27, 2019I don't have the words to express what incredible hosts Owen and Jan are. They were flexible and accommodating way above and beyond what's required or expected. I was on Oahu unexpectedly because my boyfriend was med-evac'ed to a hospital here. I knew no one, had nothing with me, and was thoroughly exhausted on every level. Their generosity and thoughtfulness made being in this terrible situation much more bearable. They even made my Christmas feel Merry. I highly recommend this great location, super-clean unit, and especially it's fantastic hosts. Mahalo nui loa, Owen and Jan!!
Jun 27, 2019Very very nice place and more affordable compared to the hotels. The location is perfect. It's 2-minute walk to the grocery store. 5-minute walk to the mall and it's also pretty close to the beach. The condo is really comfy and well organized. Basically has everything I need. There is even a swimming pool. Owen and Jan are also really nice people. I feel so lucky to meet them and stay at their place for a week. Definitely will come back to their place next time!
Jun 27, 2019Gostamos muito do apartamento do Owen e da Jan! Eles são ótimos anfitriões! O lugar é simples mas o apartamento é muito aconchegante. Alguns detalhes foram cuidadosamente preparados para nos sentir em casa. Conseguimos usar bem a cozinha que estava equipada com muitos utensílios e até com alguns temperos! Tinham vários armários onde pudemos guardar os nossos itens pessoais. Alguns acessórios de praia também estavam disponíveis! A internet tinha bom sinal! Poucos canais na TV mas com tanta coisa para fazer na cidade que nem sentimos falta! Não utilizamos o ar condicionado pois não estava tão quente assim. Também não utilizamos a piscina. O estacionamento (valor já incluso na diária) é muito bom! Estávamos com uma van e foi super tranquilo de estacionar. A localização é sensacional! Perto do mercado (food pantry fica do outro lado da rua), do shopping (Internacional Market), do ponto de ônibus, dos restaurantes e das ruas principais de Waikiki. A vizinhança é bem tranquila! Tivemos uma intercorrência com a banheira mas foi prontamente resolvida. A comunicação com o Owen foi super fácil! Fomos com uma bebê de 1 ano e 3 meses e foi super tranquilo. Apesar de não ter berço disponível, conseguimos improvisar uma cama para ela e deu super certo. Utilizamos alguns produtos de lavanderia que estavam no apartamento. A lavadora e secadora também eram boas. O nosso voo chegou bem tarde mas não tivemos problemas para entrar no apartamento pela primeira vez pois foi bem explicado em como fazer.

Jun 27, 2019Once you choose this accommodation, it is no exaggeration to say that you will have friends in Hawaii. Host Owen and Jan are so kind and friendly people. When you feel uncomfortable, you can be easily contacted and they try to solve the problem immediately. And they provide all the convenience that their guests can get comfortable with. 1. Location : Waikiki Beach is so accessible, it's only a five-minute walk. Since Waikiki doesn't have a large supermarket, the grocery store right in front of it is very useful. 2. Facilities : All cooking facilities are available. It's a studio, but it's convenient to have separate bedrooms and living room. In conclusion, if I go back to Hawaii, I'd like to stay at Owen's house. I would like to say thank you once again.

We had everything we needed at our finger tips from groceries, buses, restaurants and a short walk to the beach! The bed was more comfy than our one back home- luxury to fall into after a long day sight seeing around Waikiki! Dont hesitate to book this one as you will be well looked after, our hosts were extremely helpful and responsive and are never far away if you need any help! Thanks again for having us!

The communication with the host is fast and it cares more carefully to see if there is anything more necessary. The location is only a 7 minute walk to Waikiki Beach, and there is a grocery store right in front of the house. I would like to stay again if I come to Hawaii ♡
Jun 27, 2019We love Owen's condo very much. The location is perfect that very close to Waikiki beach- about 5 to 10 mins walk. There's a supermarket right cross the street that we can get anything we needed. There are tons of restaurants around too that we don't have to worry too much about foods. The best part of the condo is the parking lot! Which saved us a lot of money and super convenient for us. We highly recommend to stay at Owen's condo if you will rent a car. We definitely will choose to stay here again if we ever come back to Hawaii :)
Jun 27, 2019I rented Owen's place for 1 week for my bf's sembreak/birthday celebration last April 2018 Right from the start, Owen has been an outstanding host. After I confirmed my reservation, he sent me a message about how to make my stay in Waikiki much more comfortable. Location - The location can NOT be beat for the price! His place is literally a block away from International Market Place and a couple of blocks away from Waikiki beach. There is a grocery across from the condo too. All the amenities you need is close to his place. We were there for the WAIKIKI Spam jam festival which closed KALAKUA avenue for this annual celebration. THOUSANDS of people packed the street and although it was fun, there was a lot of noise coming from the free concerts/entertainment. The celebration was a block away but we did not hear any noise. His location provided a lot of guilt free happy hour bar hopping. :-) Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Garage - Covered parking and included with the fee. No extra/hidden fees. This is such a rarity in this area. The cheapest I had found when I was doing my research was $20-25 per day. Most places will do valet. His is FREE!! Apartment - extremely clean. We were pleasantly surprised. The condominium is not one of the high rise ones and his unit is on the second floor but nevertheless, there is an elevator. Basic amenities are provided. He even let us borrow his snorkeling equipment. The best thing about the apartment is not the place BUT the host. He has been so accommodating of me and my bf. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. He would email me every couple of days to check if we need anything and I also had his mobile number, just in case. I think we were lucky to book his place because most of the time he is always booked so if you have an opportunity to rent out his condominium, GO FOR IT. You will not regret it!
Jun 27, 2019Location! Location! Location! From the reviews we expected a clean and cozy condo (which we got) but we could not have ever imagined a place so perfectly situated. It is right across the street from the International Marketplace which is where all the high-end shops and restaurants are located. It is also close to the beach (about a 10 minute stroll). Owen was the perfect host. He was not going to be around at our check-in so he not only sent detailed directions but also included photos of doors, locks, and keys. Parking can be difficult in Honolulu so having a free parking space was a definite plus. It should be noted that the spot, like most spots on the island, are rather small so you may need a few swings to get in correctly (and do not rent an over-sized car!). We would recommend Owen's place without any hesitation.

The location is close to Wikiki beach and royal Hawaian center, and main shopping center. It takes about 5 mins. The room was so beautiful and cute. Right in the middles of Waikiki and steps from the beach. Using this as a home base with a parking space was perfect. I highly recommend this place and we hope to stay here next time we are in Oahu.

Pros: location, free parking, use of snorkeling equipment, and nice clean empty pool at complex with a huge grill. Cons: Needed to purchase coffee for place, the room could get a little warm in summer, would have loved to have a floor fan.

Jun 27, 2019Owen’s place made our stay in Oahu awesome! The location is close to many delicious eateries/ shopping and a quick 5 minute walk to Waikiki Beach! Parking in this part of Oahu can be crazy so the parking amenity was a life saver and the actual condo was cute and spacious for two! Owen is quick to respond and was very helpful in giving us tips about the island and he and his wife were so friendly and sweet when we met them during our stay! Would definitely stay at his place again!

You are in a quiet area but just a few minutes by walking from the beach, restaurant, shops etc. The apartment is clean, with all you need to spend your vacation. The parking is so convenient when you rent a car like us (there is a swimming pool and a laundry place in the building too) Owen was always available and helpful for us. Exactly what I expected based on the description and pictures, really close to the beach and not too far to go to get to the highways if you're heading to the other shores. There is a microwave also in the room that I didn't see listed/in the pictures. Communication with Owen was easy and he was always quick to respond. Even checked in to make sure we were enjoying our time and to see if we needed anything. Also had really good tips for some affordable bars and activities around waikiki if you plan on staying in the area. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again if I'm staying in Waikik!
Jun 27, 2019This is a perfect location in walking distance to the beach and restaurants. There is an air conditioner unit but if you open up the doors and turn the fan on low the place stays cool without it. It is clean and I greatly appreciated the beach towels and mat that were made available to us. Owen gives wonderful suggestions of things to do and is helpful with any questions you might have about the area.
Jun 27, 2019I’ve traveled to Hawaii many times & I can say that this is one of the best places I’ve stayed. Location was PERFECT. It was exactly in the middle of everything! 2 block walk to the beach, 15-20 min drive to Hanauma Bay, 2-3 min walk to the International Market, & walking distance to many places to eat & shop. The place comes with everything you’ll need for your stay. The free parking was an absolute bonus! If you know Waikiki, you know how ridiculously hard it is to find parking & rates are expensive. The hosts were kind enough to reach out to us to ensure we had everything we needed and to see how our trip was. I can guarantee I’ll be coming back here the next time I’m in town. (Hope its not booked!) Mahalo!
Jun 27, 2019The place is very close to everything. Even if you are not renting a car it wouldn’t be a problem because bus stops are very close by, and a grocery store is just across the street. There isn’t a Waikiki view from the windows but everything is just as it looks in the picture. The location was great and host Owen was very friendly. Highly recommend.
Jun 27, 2019Nearly best possible location in Waikiki: quiet and still minutes away from beach, large hotels etc. Extremely valuable for those who rent a car for touring the island: the studio comes with private parking! (very rare in Waikiki). Owen is easliy reachable and available to give you all good advices for your visit.
Jun 27, 2019I am SO glad we stayed here vs a hotel. Seriously every day My boyfriend and I were saying “we are so glad we went with this place”. Between the saving on parking and resort fees we easily saved $80 a day. And this place is GREAT: super clean, amazing location (5 min away from Ala Moana), grocery store across the street, laundry, a small pool, free parking, small patio, full kitchen, and Owen is a wonderful host. I think he texted me back within 1 minute each time I reached out! And staying at an Airbnb really changed my trip. I wasn’t so chained to a hotel. Since our car was so easy to access, we were more out and about this time. When I go back to O’ahu I am definitely going to make sure this apt is available for my trip!

Jun 27, 2019日本からの便でﾎﾉﾙﾙ朝着だったが､午前10時半頃に快くｱｰﾘｰﾁｪｯｸｲﾝさせて頂いた! 本当に気さくで優しいｵｰﾅｰさんでした｡ お部屋の建物の上層階にｵｰﾅｰさんが住んでいるので､何かあっても直ぐに対応してもらえる｡ 駐車場がちょっと狭くて入れづらいが､駐車料金込みですし建物はｴﾚﾍﾞｰﾀｰもあり荷物の出し入れはしやすかったです｡ 窓からの眺望は無いと言うか､むしろ悪いですが､ｽｰﾊﾟｰの目の前なので場所はとっても便利だと思います｡

Jun 27, 2019Owen is a great host. He's such a nice guy and went out on a limb to help us. My wife and I were very impressed by how considerate he was and comfortable his house was. And the location! The house was practically 2 blocks away from the beach and near to everything we wanted(we picked up our rental car one block away from the house). It was our first air b&b experience and we couldn't have asked more! We will definitely come back to Hawaii again and stay at his house. Highly recommended!!
Jul 27, 2019Owen-san is a great host. It was my first time staying in condo. I am not good at English, but he was kind to me like that. He gave a detailed explanation, such as preparations of traveling, check-in, check-out, and it was very helpful. The location of the condo is very wonderful, there is a parking lot and the FoodPantry is also in front of me so all the experience was convenient. The most wonderful experience is meeting Owen-san. I definitely would like to return to this condo. HappyCakes made by Owen-san is very delicious so I recommend it! I appreciate Owen-san very much.
Jun 27, 2019ﾜｲｷｷの真ん中､ｽｰﾊﾟｰも目の前にあり､とても便利な立地です｡ ﾁｪｯｸｲﾝの段取りもﾎｽﾄのOwenさんがとても分かりやすく画像付きで教えてくださりました｡お部屋も､ﾗﾝﾄﾞﾘｰﾙｰﾑもとても清潔で､女性1人でも安心して滞在できました｡ｾﾙﾌﾁｪｯｸｲﾝできるので､Owenさんにお会いすることはないのかと思いましたが､ﾁｪｯｸｱｳﾄ時にはわざわざ出てきて見送ってくださいました｡とても温かな優しいﾎｽﾄですので､とてもｵｽｽﾒです｡ ありがとうございました!
Jun 27, 2019Owen is a super nice host who always responded super quickly and helped us with everything we asked for. The condo is nice in clean, in a safe neighborhood and Owen prepared more than you would expect from an AirBnB like bottled water, and products like sun screen and Aloe Vera. I would definitely recommend to stay at this condo!

Jun 27, 2019숙소 매우 만족스러워요. 오웬의 집에는 없는게 없을 정도로 모든 것이 다 갖추어져 있는 완벽한 숙소입니다~~ 특히 무료 주차장이 있어서 매우 좋았어요. 위치도 최고로 좋아요. 바로 앞에 마트와 주위에 맛집, 까페 모두 다 있습니다. 덕분에 휴가를 즐겁게 잘 보내다 왔네요. 특히 호스트가 매우 친절해요~~
Jun 27, 2019무엇보다도 위치가 너무 좋아요. 와이키키 중심에 있으면서도 약간 골목쪽이라 밤에는 조용했고 집 바로 앞에 푸드 팬트리 라는 마트고 있어서 자주 이용했습니다. Owen은 세심하고 친절한 호스트였어요. 체크아웃 하는 날 저희 배웅까지 해주었어요 :) 두사람이 묶는다면 정말 부족함없는 숙소입니다.

Jun 27, 2019This was the perfect accompdation in Hawaii. It was much more spacious than i expected and clean. Owen provided all items that you need to stay. It was easy to communicate via phone call, text messages, and airbnb app. He was a warm-hearted person. If i go to Hawaii someday, i will stay Owen’s home again.
