The neighborhood (Makiki Heights) is the most conveniente in the Island of Oahu, near everything and yet with plenty of privacy, quietness and tranquility so our guests can enjoy what Oahu has to offer and yet come home to a quiet and comfortable home.

Amazing house with a very Zen feeling and a beautiful view! Jose was a great host and made sure we felt right at home. Very close to the city and plenty of things to do. The house has plenty of room and is even more amazing in person.
Jun 27, 2019The house is more beautiful in person. You can't beat the view! There's plenty of space for my big group of 12. There are some drain and hot water issues during our stay, but Jose is very responsive and fixed them quickly. We had a wonderful time in Oahu using Jose's place as home base. Thank you for sharing your home.
Jun 27, 2019We had a GREAT time... Very centrally located -- and we know Oahu really well. This was one of those Airbnb sites where it was actually BETTER than the photos suggested. This is a find for everyone. Definitely worth the little bit extra. Perfect for a family of 5 to 7. And you can't beat the views! Thank you Jose...

Jun 27, 2019Comfortable in Jose's home. Spacious living room, kitchen utensils, comfortable soft bed. My family loves it here. Especially in front of the restaurant can push and pull the glass door, so that we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in the evening and night at night, at the time of tea or dinner. It feels great! Jose is a good homeowner. Very considerate, thoughtful service! Thank you so much for bringing us such a wonderful experience!

The pictures do not even do this place justice. I absolutely recommend Jose and his home for anyone looking to experience a high class but homely getaway, and hope to be back again!

Jun 27, 2019Jose has the most beautiful house we have ever seen as an AirBnB. The photos on the website don’t do it justice - the actual house is mind-blowing! The view from his house is incredible, his treehouse is phenomenal, he has a fully equipped gym, a keyboard & drumset - just everything about his house is perfect. Sitting outside with a couple of beers and looking over into Honolulu/Waikiki during the sunset was a breathtaking experience - something that no hotel can provide. Jose and his family (and his cute little dog) are very respectful, and provided us with everything that we needed. The location is great (10 minute car ride to Waikiki), and the neighborhood is beautiful. It was almost a shame that we had so many things planned outside of the home, and we wished we could’ve stayed longer. It was an honor to be able to stay at his home even just for a few days - not many times in your life would someone be willing to share their beautiful home with strangers and be so accommodating. For anyone coming to Oahu, I highly recommend staying at this property; it will most definitely enhance your experience. Thank you Jose for being such a great host - I hope our paths cross again in the future!

Jose was kind to meet and greet us upon check-in, which our group appreciated. He provided us with some awesome local tips. The location of the property is great and I would highly recommend staying at Jose's place.

Jun 27, 2019This is an excellent house, enough room for a large group. Very stylish and cool decoration. Jose is very responsive and keen to be as helpful as possible. Location is very convenient though it would be best to get a car. All in all, a good and enjoyable experience.
Jul 27, 2019The house is very spacious, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Pictures do not do this property justice. It is so much more beautiful in person!!! The view is breathtaking especially at night. Being centrally located in Honolulu, you are never more than a few miles from where the action is. That said, the property is tucked just high enough up on a residential hilltop to ensure your relaxing privacy. Jose welcomed up into his home and made us feel like family. We can’t wait to return. If you are planning a trip to Oahu, you MUST stay here!!! I promise you will not be disappointed. Thanks Jose for helping make our trip to Oahu one that we will never forget.

Jun 27, 2019Beautiful secluded views of the city, yet easy and quick to get right into the nightlife and action. Amazing view of the fireworks! Modern amenities and touches. The younger ones (18-25) loved the full gym with weights, treadmill and bike. And a treehouse!

Jun 27, 2019Gorgeous house located in a quiet neighborhood only 10 - 15 mins from Waikiki and the airport. Jose is a great host and the views are absolutely gorgeous. You can see Diamond Head from the backyard and the Waikiki skyline. Bedrooms and amenities are perfect for a larger group.

Jun 27, 2019Fantastic house. Great for large families or groups. Clean and tidy. Loads of fun was had in the entertaining zones of the house. The views were incredible! Good location, Only a short $12 Uber ride to Waikiki. Be mindful of other accommodation at same location, including owner.

Jun 27, 2019Jose's home is wonderful. This is one of those rare times when the home is more beautiful than the pictures. The views are outstanding and the home takes full advantage with great indoor/outdoor spaces. This is a great home for larger groups, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and parking for two cars. Jose provided lots of thoughtful amenities, including a well appointed kitchen, beach towels, and a boogie board for our son to use. He clearly cares deeply for his home, and was a very welcoming and involved host, responding promptly to messages and checking in with us regularly. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019Words cannot describe how amazing this house is. The view was absolutely stunning. It was so nice to wake up every morning to the sunrise as well as seeing the city light up at night. The living area and kitchen were both very clean and had all the necessities in them. Each bedroom and its respective bathrooms were also very clean which made the stay much more comfortable. All in all, the house was very spacious and pleasant to stay in (Website hidden by Airbnb) The house is also located in the city of Honolulu, but it is far enough that there is not much city noise. The location was very convenient for us as we were able to go into the city fairly easily as well as travel to other parts of the island with ease (Website hidden by Airbnb) My family and I enjoyed the stay here, and Jose was an excellent host. Jose not only cares about his house, but he also cares about his guests. He provided us beach towels and boards for when we went to the beach, and he also respected our privacy. I would recommend to book this place as soon as possible because we booked it last minute but got lucky that no one took our dates yet.
