We enjoyed out stay in Erdal's Studio. It looks exactly like the photos, clean and cozy, but on the small side. Erdal and her niece were very helpful and always very quick at responding to any questions we had. The location is good, it does involve a fair amount of waking to reach most destinations, approx 10-15minute walk to nearest tram. However Istiklal Ave is very close and convenient to get to locations if you enjoy walking around. The area is very safe and lively although the roads and sidewalks can be quite uneven. Overall we would suggest staying with Erdal and feel as though this is a good place for young travelers to explore the less touristy side of Istanbul.
Jun 27, 2019The flat was clean and comfortable-- just as it is shown in the photos. Erdal was very quick to respond to all my inquiries, which was much appreciated and very reassuring. The heating in the flat and all the appliances worked perfectly. The only thing to be aware of is that (as per the picture) there is not a separate shower, just the shower head over the toilet. Otherwise, a very happy stay! The flat location is positioned ideally for nights out and it is feasible to walk to all the major tourist spots without wearing yourself out, which was a great bonus for us!
Jun 27, 2019Staying in Erdal's studio was a good experience! Good price for value, the property and the location of the studio, near to Istiklal Caddesi were appreciable for us. Erdal's nephew, spoke perfectly english so she will be able to respond to any demand.
Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed staying at the Cute Studio Concept during our stay in Istanbul. Erdal and her family are very attentive and easy to communicate with. The flat is a great bargain and a nice option for a stay in Istanbul especially for a young couple or a couple of friends. I definitely recommend it! The only comment is that the shower is a bit of an adventure because it's not partitioned. You basically shower in the middle of the bathroom floor in front of the toilet, but that's all part of the fun!
Jun 27, 2019Erdal and his niece were helpful and kind. Their responses to our emails have always been timely, and they met our every request. The position is strategic to reach anywhere in the city. I advice Erdal if someone will visit Istanbul.
Jun 27, 2019Erdal and her family were great. They ran the bed and breakfast, and allowed us to check-in early since our flight came in very early in the morning. For you, that would depend on if there were people in your room the night before. The room was small, but was as advertised. Room had clean sheets and towels. Comfortable beds. Shower was strange for american standards, but it was a good stay! Would recommend if you're on a budget

Jun 27, 2019We spent a week in Istanbul and during our stay we lived in this apart. We came there with our daughter (she’s 2y.o) and it was really helpful that Eldar gave us baby bath and stroller. The apart itself is tiny but there is everything you need during your vacation. In real life the apart is just the same as you can see on the pictures. It’s a perfect place to stay if you are going to see Istanbul. The only thing that I would recommend is to print presentation (especially map)in color and to use jalousie in the evening. Jun 27, 2019We had a layover in Istanbul and unfortunately were very disappointed with our stay here in Istanbul. Our apartment door was in an alley filled with trash and upon entering the apartment all you could smell was mold/mildew. I thought maybe I was overreacting, however, as the night went on I developed allergy symptoms and woke up with a headache and completely congested. We opened a window and turned on the de-humidifier that was in the room, but it did little to get rid of the smell. The shower is only a showerhead over the toilet, however, it provided plenty of hot water. We used Airbnb for our entire two week vaction and this was the only one we had a bad experience at. We left early the next morning and did not get a chance to explore the neighborhood, however, we can’t recommend this room to future renters. Erdal did keep in touch with us and responded quickly regarding our concerns about the protests in Taksim square, however, she will use your e-mail for communication and we were receiving multiple e-mails a day from her and that became somewhat overwhelming as well.
Jun 27, 2019The hosts are great with providing info before and during the stay. :) The room itself (Cute Studio Concept) is clean but musty. If mold/mildew bothers you, you probably don't want to stay here. It probably has to do with the fact that the drain in the bathroom is not at the low point of the floor. There's a squeegee type thing in the bathroom which would make it easy to push the water in the drain, except that there's a bumpy sticky mat right in the middle of the floor that holds all the water and makes it impossible to move water to the drain. You can tell this bothered me a little bit. But! Aside from musty smell and permanently wet bathroom floor, the place was clean and the price was fairly good. If those two downsides don't bother you, then it definitely could be worthwhile. Although there's only one burner, the kitchen is wonderfully well stocked.
Jun 27, 2019During our 3 week tour of Eastern Europe using Airbnb for housing, my girlfriend and I were least impressed with our stay here. To be fair, the place did look as it did in the photos and the communication and check in were second to none in professionalism. The reasons we were left unimpressed was because of the alleyway where trash was scattered around, the musty interior, and the shower and squeegee situation other reviewers have described. In addition, my girlfriend and I kept waking up in the morning with insect bites and found a roach in the sheets. We spent three nights here and never quite felt comfortable. As I said before, there were definitely positives such as the communication and very detailed information and tips the host gave us before the trip. However, even with the budget price, I would have paid a bit more for a more comfortable place to stay.
Jun 27, 2019This cute little studio apartment is exactly that, cute and little. It appears exactly as it does in the photos and is really all that I needed when staying in Istanbul for 2 nights. There is a funny mildew-y smell, but it really isn't that bad - particularly when you're out all day exploring the huge city. I really really appreciated Erdal's emails prior to my arrival, particularly due to the protests in Gezi Park. I was never really that worried, but if I was, Erdal's emails would have easily lessened any worries I may have had. Erdal's niece was lovely, very friendly and spoke excellent english, Erdal's spoken English isn't as good however she was very friendly and welcoming on my first day. Kindness is a universal language and it was shown on this stay. Thank you so much.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed in the appartment in early July. The studio was well located and Erdal was really helpful, providing all the info we needed before our arrival. However, the smell was hard to bear (musty), and the door of the bathroom did not lock. It was ok for one night and adapted to our small budget but I would not recommend it for a long stay.
Jun 27, 2019The studio is in fact a room with a kitchen corner and a shower/toilet. There is indeed a smell of mold because it's rather damp (there's a dehumidifier in the room). If you don't mind this, then it's very good value for money, and the staff is friendly as well.

Jun 27, 2019The pictures are all real, however, one thing that does not appear on them is the high humidity and the noise from the street. The studio feels more like a tiny underground cave due to high humidity. The noise coming from the cars and people in the streets make it difficult to sleep. I spent 2 nights there after a last minute reservation, and I would not have been able to stay more. Istanbul is an expensive city, but this place is to expensive for the standard.
Jun 27, 2019Very small studio, no big window to open, bed cracking, very stinky (most probably because of rotten wood or something like that), shower is above the toilet! So very bad experience, it is easy to find much better at a reasonable price.
Jun 27, 2019I would recommend to stay in this apartment if you are traveling on a budget :) The apartment was clean, in a good location and Erdal and her work partners were very friendly and helpful :) There was even some food and drinks left for us, which was very handy on our first night as we were very tired/hungry and didn't want to leave the apartment ! The apartment is fairly small but all you need for a short stay.

Jun 27, 2019My experience at "The Cute Studio" was great! It wasn't luxury, but for the price, the location, and the good service of Güner and Nazim it's perfect. As I mentioned, Güner and Nazim were really helpful and responsive to our requests. They gave us tips to tour the city, helped us to communicate with cab drivers, and fixed the shower that I unintentionally broke. Overall, I am happy with this experience. If I had to go back to Istanbul, I'd stay there again.

В этой небольшой квартире есть всё что нужно для комфортной жизни: кондиционер, микроволновая печь, холодильник, душ. Фотографии и описание полностью соответствуют действительности, но возможно не будут соответствовать вашим ожиданиям. Не плохая цена для квартиры в центре. . Были с другом в Стамбуле два раза. Хотели и во второй раз снять квартиру, но к сожалению было занято. Рекомендую эту квартиру для непритязательных путешественников.

For staying some days in Istanbul and you´re on budget it is a great oportunity but for staying longer -for me personally- it would be too small (as you can see in the description). Moreover the apartment gets a little smelly because there are no windows ;)
Jun 27, 2019i was in the flat for 6 nights.location of the flat is perfect! main street is just 3 min walking. place was really clean and you have everything you need. just one small problem was the bathroom. while taking a shower whater is not going out, so you cant sense the humidity for hours after. but all in all for that price you could not expect more!
Jun 27, 2019Guner was a fantastic host. Himself and the staff were very helpful with everything I needed and offered me detailed info about Istanbul and its charms. The room presented itself exactly in the same way it was illustrated in the photographs, and most importantly - it was very clean and tidy. If I were to visit Istanbul ever again, I would most certainly book one of Guner's rooms once more. The area is not too shabby either. Very close to Taksim Square which is a bubbly area with a spectacular nightlife. Walking distance to Galata Tower.

Jun 27, 2019The correspondence with the hosts was quickly, helpful and nice. They are really professional hosts. They sent me a lot of useful information about Istanbul, it was really a great present, thank you! The apartment was incredible tiny, it's in fact a room with a kitchenette and a bathroom. It was a surprise but it wasn't a problem because we had everything we needed, the apartment was fully equipped. The bathroom is very new and nice. The bed is comfortable and we had an inusefully long blanket that was very comfortable. The house is in a good place but you need to walk a lot (it wasn't a problem for us) because the public transport is far and for the centre is better walking. There was good central heating in the flat. The apartment is clean and by night we could sleep well, there wasn't any loud noise in the neighbourhood. I recommend the flat only for sleeping but you will go to Istanbul to pass the hole day in the streets :). The description of how to reach the house and the map is a little bit misleading, it is better control the route for the house meticulously before starting off because there is another Burger King earlier in Istiklal street and we were confused. On Sundays there is a fantastic vegetable and cheese market in the next streets we found it by chance and it was really a plus.

Jun 27, 2019Guner and Berry are so welcoming and helpful. They tried all their best to give all info I needed during my stay. The accommodation is so clean and has basic requirements. It is located in a residential area, surrounded by some small local shops, cafes, and etc. a few mins walk to Istiklal. I should also mention that the flat a tiny studio but good for the price being. Advice, be aware of taxis in Taksim. Ask for the British embassy and you can walk from there to the flat about 5 min. Bottom line, I would recommend the host first and then the place.

He tried to help us a lot, especially when we couldn't find the address :))) The room was not the big one, but very nice and clean, with a wonderful terrace on the roof. Also i liked the location. It is located near British Counsulate, very nice street with a lot of bars/restaurants, but still it was not so noisy and annoying. I can tell that the price really corresponds the quality. And if you could book this place you would be very lucky. Thank you Guner. Next time i will book your place in Istanbul for sure.
Jun 27, 2019Bon service et logement tel que décrit. Très propre. Eau chaude, chauffage, climatisation, TV satellite et système d'alarme. Seul bémol qu'on ne voit pas sur les photos est le minuscule lavabo de la salle de bain qui n'est pas très pratique. Mon conseil: prenez un studio aux étages supérieurs, le voisinage est bruyant. Pour une nuit ou deux c'est très bien. Pour plus de deux nuits je vous recommande plutôt d'aller dans le coin de Sisli, deux stations de métro plus au nord.

Jun 27, 2019this was my first time at Berry Life Aparts and i totally loved it ,everything was clean and tidy and everyone in the office was nice they directed me to some really nice places and where always ready to help and the manager himself was only a phone call away to organize everything he even send me bell-boy for free in order to help my family to carry their luggage and to guide them to the flat ,the room contained everything that you might need for your stay , i missed my flight at the end of the trip but luckily i was able to extend one more night in the same room and Mr Guner was able to help me to arrange a car to get me to the airport at the mid of the night , highly recommended place to stay.

Jun 27, 2019The accomondation has everything which you need to have a good stay. The Staff is really helpful ( special thanls goes to Ali). The communicatin with Güner and his crew was smooth and easy. The Area is fine but do not suggest something super luxury or whatever but if you need just a stay and no 5* Luxury Accomondation this one will be fine. Taksim is about 10-15 minutes walk or two stops by bus. Istiklal is reachable in 5-7 minutes by walk. Try Dürümzade the food is good and cheap and it is just two streets away. Anyway i would recommend this appartment.

Jun 27, 2019A nice location for a good price. In a few minutes walk you are already in Taksim. Near busstops and metro. A good place to stay if you want to discover the city and only use it for sleeping. The only thing is to watch out for is the low entrance door of the studio.

Tanto la acogida como el servicio del personal fueron de primera, y el apartamento es moderno, cómodo, práctico y tiene todo lo necesario para una breve estancia. La ubicación también es excelente, fácil de encontrar (junto a una de las avenidas principales del centro de Estambul), y a tan solo unos minutos a pie de Taksim, Istiklal y la zona de bares. Sin duda, una excelente relación calidad-precio.

Jun 27, 2019Perfect place for a short stay in Istanbul. The apartment is small, but it's more than enough for 2 people to have a rest and shower (you don't travel to stay in the room, right?). Good value for the price. Great location, close to tourist attractions, public transport stations, restaurants and bars. Had no problem finding our way around. It's very handy that reception works 24 hours, so you always have someone to ask for advice and solve any of your problems. Highly recommended

Jul 27, 2019Very good experience en general. The apartment its really little but has everything you need. It is really clean too, great service from the 24 hours reception. The only bad thing it's that can be a little noisy at night. But overall a very good experience, I think next time I will stay in other of their apartments that are not in the last floor. Everything in general was really good and I loved their security system, so you can have all your belongs in your rooms without worrying about anything.

Jun 27, 2019Квартира отлично расположена, рядом улица Истикляль, огромное количество уютных кафе, есть 2 супермаркета рядом, мелкие магазины, небольшой овощной рынок. 15 минут ходьбы до станции метро и 3 минуты до автобусной остановки. Квартира расположена на цокольном этаже, очень маленькая и скромная, подойдет для одного человека или максимум двоих. Горячая вода идет хорошо, туалет, душ - все работает. Был предоставлен полный набор посуды, еда на первый день проживания. Быстрый WiFi без перебоев, работает телевизор с местными каналами. Бесплатная стирка вещей в прачечной. Очень отзывчивый и приветливый персонал. В общем, все очень хорошо, и нам понравилось, единственный минус - в квартире была повышенная влажность, и никакие проветривания помещения не спасали, особенно, после пользования ванной комнатой двумя людьми)

Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay in Istanbul! We extrnded our atay at Berrys, because we really felt like home and everything was perfect! The appartment is well-located, very central. The owner is helpful, answers quickly and gives good tipps! So overall: if we come back to Istanbul we will stay at Guners‘ place again for sure :)!

Jun 27, 2019Квартира идеально подойдет для одного- двух человек, небольшая но очень уютная и чистая! При заезде нас ждала питьевая вода, растворимый кофе, кексики! В квартире есть все необходимое: постельное белье, полотенца, тапочки, фен ,кондиционер , набор посуды и даже сендвичница!) В квартире нет стиральной машины, но хозяин уточнил, что если возникнет необходимость , то загляните в офис( который находится буквально за углом в двух шагах) и они отнесут вещи в прачечную, бесплатно. Душ, туалет- все работает отлично, перебоев с водой не было. Квартира находится на цокольном этаже(может быть немного влажно, когда мы приезжали на улице было холодно и дождливо), вход изолированный- за калиткой, как на фото.Хорошо работает WiFi. Квартира находится в 5ти минутах ходьбы от пешеходной улицы Истикляль и в 15ти от станции метро. Приветливый и отзывчивый персонал! Мы остались всем довольны))
