Monica's studio apartment in Copacabana was exactly as advertised: clean, modern, well appointed and in a safe, extremely convenient location for guests to enjoy Rio. Monica was a great host: friendly, attentive, responsive and very helpful. She provided a list of recommended restaurants and a bottle of champagne for New Years, and was always answered her cell phone when questions came up. I would have a lot of confidence staying at one of Monica's properties again.

Jun 27, 2019This apartment is in the most amazing location ... right next to the Ipanema/General Osario (SA Ferriera entrance) Metro and there is a Riobike stand also right at the door. AND it is only a couple of blocks walk from the beach. We felt very safe and comfortable in this area. No view to speak of, but you do feel that you are immersed in Rio life, particularly when you hang out the window and watch a Carnaval bloco going past .. fun!!! Monica was wonderful and very flexible and accommodating with our requests. We had a few problems on arrival and Monica attempted to remedy them straight away even though we were smack in the middle of Carnaval and Copacabana was pretty much at gridlock. She even posted some electrical adaptors to me that I had left behind - very helpful. The apartment is only small, but large enough for a couple to move around comfortably. Tidy little kitchen area and clean clean clean apartment. It is not what you would call a luxurious apartment however very much value for money. Monica did not over- escalate the prices for the Carnaval period like many of the Airbnb owners did ... we stayed for 10 days and loved it.

Jun 27, 2019Monica was extremely responsive, kind, and helpful. The apartment is in a great location and is very clean. It suited our needs perfectly and proved to be a great value. Although we had an issue with the shower during our stay, Monica was quick to address the problem as soon as we notified her of it. One thing to keep in mind regarding the location is that the General Osorio subway station, for which there is an entrance in front of the building, is currently closed for construction. So if being close to the subway is important to you, then it would make sense to ensure that the station has been reopened. Overall, I highly recommend Monica and this apartment.

Monica ist als echte Carioca eine nette Gastgeberin und sehr um das Wohlbehagen ihrer Gäste bemüht. Sie versucht, eventuell auftretende Mängel umgehend zu beseitigen und ist flexibel hinsichtlich der An- und Abreise. Wir würden bei einem nächsten Rio-Aufenthalt wieder ihr Appt. buchen und können es nur empfehlen.
Jun 27, 2019Aconselhamos a todos que procuram alojamento no Rio o apartamento da Mónica. Trata-se de um apartamento muito bom, muito simpático, muito bem equipado, extremante limpo e numa zona óptima, perto da praia, do metro, de autocarros e na zona nobre do Rio. Esta localização para nós foi fantástica, pois não queriamos ficar alojados numa zona demasiadamente barulhenta e agitada. Conseguimos de facto, combinar a tranquilidade necessária e a proximidade da praia de Copacabana, Arpoador e Ipanema, pois este apartamento fica à mesma distância de todas elas (5 minutos a pé). Para além disso adoramos a Mónica, é uma pessoa óptima, muito prestável e uma excelente anfitriã, que nos ajudou e nos deu dicas de grande ajuda. Sem dúvida foi uma excelente estadia e quando voltarmos ao Rio de Janeiro será novamente a nossa escolha. 5 ESTRELAS.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was perfect for my wife and me. Monica went above all my expectations for my first rental on airbnb.com. She even went as far as having a list of tourist attractions, bus routes, places to eat, and where to rent bicycles in the area. She was also flexible on the check-in and out times which is important for travelers. The apartment was spotless and EXTREMELY clean. I highly recommend staying here over any other option in Rio during your stay (flexible check-in/out, clean, and prime location). Monica made the apartment feel like our home. You are just a short walk from Copacabana post 5 and can easily walk to post 9 if you wish. We walked everywhere and didn’t need to take the metro (Still closed). We found a great salgado stop for a quick breakfast or lunch before hitting the beach or sugar loaf right down the street from the apartment. You simply walk out the front door towards Avenue Atlantica and one block prior on the left hand side before crossing the street you will find awesome salgados for only R$3.00. If you turn right here, a couple blocks down on the left you will find an awesome takeout restaurant as well and one meal feeds two Americans at R$15.00! Note that Monica speaks excellent English for those of you that don’t speak Portuguese. THANKS MONICA!
Jun 27, 2019In a tree weks time I stayd in Rio in this apatment. From april to june. Monica is the moust caretakeing person and she gave 100% good service. The appartment is located in a perekt way for a vistor in Rio.It is close to Everything and silent at night. Taxi was passeing by in the corner and it was easy to leave and come home. The kitchen area was bigger then I expeted and the shower was just perfekt.. Totaly it was very nice dekorated and the bed was good. Television and WiFi was totaly good. For me on my first visit to Rio this apartement was the best in al ways. I can warmly recomend it. Thanks to you Monica. Sylvia from Lapland in Sweden

Jun 27, 2019We couldn´t have asked for a better host, location, or overall experience. Monica was super friendly and sweet, and very helpful and responsive when we asked for suggestions about Rio. The apartment was the perfect size for 2 people, very comfy bed, very clean and functional kitchen and bathroom. We felt 100% safe the entire time we stayed in Monica´s lovely apartment. Definitely recommend!
Jun 27, 2019Monica was great! my flight was a bit late and my phone could not get a signal...she waited right in front of the building until I showed up,and this was like 7 in the morning.!,she was informative and helpful..first time with Airbnb and it was a great relief to know that good people are working with them...the apartment was fantastic, super clean modern and exactly like the picture. the building is in a middle class neighborhood with tons of charm I felt safe day and night . You are close to all the great neighborhoods without paying the high prices..Copacabana.. what else can I say its just legendary...What a wonderful stay. Rio is just beautiful and this apartment lets you live and feel the pulse of the city...great value for your money highly recommended. you will not be sorry. I stayed for 8 days in june.my parents are coming to rio soon and I will recommend this apartment to (Website hidden by Airbnb) feel free to book it! its a great deal! tchau! Monica es una persona muy linda y disponible, nos recibió con mucho cariño y nos entregó el apartamento muy bien equipado de todo y muy limpio! La ubicación es muy cómoda. Calidad-precio perfecto! Jun 27, 2019Estive com minha esposa por 5 dias hospedados no charmoso studio Copacabana posto 6 e ficamos surpresos com o apartamento da Mônica , o qual é ótimo , recentemente reformado , limpíssimo , com todas as comodidades necessárias . A localização é excelente, próximo as praias de Copacabana e Ipanema e a tudo que esses bairros oferecem de melhor . Fomos recebidos pela Mônica , que além de ser uma simpatia , nos forneceu vários roteiros de passeios , restaurantes ,barzinhos, inclusive com informações de como chegar no local mais fácil e barato . Já combinamos para o ano que vem , voltarmos ao Rio de Janeiro , pois foi um passeio inesquecível e se der certo nesse mesmo studio .

A Mônica pensa cuidadosamente em todos os detalhes, deixando no apt coisas como papel toalha, saca rolhas e coisas de cozinha que fizeram com que me sentisse em casa. Além disso, tem um guia super completo com todas as informações necessárias para conhecer a cidade. Esse cuidado faz toda a diferença. Quando voltar, certamente será onde vou me hospedar.

We totaly recomend the place. Monica is a great host, she gives you all the information you need to have a great time at Rio.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is perfectly located, and will be even more so when the metro station reopens, as it stands just in front of it! You are in the part of Copacabana closest to Ipanema. You can walk to both beaches in 3-5 minutes and you can walk around comfortably, as you are in the two safest neighborhoods of Rio. The apartment is modern, clean, very well equipped, much better equipped than the average of the rental apartments I experienced in Brazil. Even shampoo and cangas (pareos) to take to the beach! Monica is very nice and always ready to help whenever you need something. She has put together an AMAZING booklet on all you need to know in the apartment and in Rio. Extremely well done.

O apartamento fica perto de tudo (praias de Copacabana e Ipanema, restaurantes, padaria, supermercados, ônibus) e no mesmo tempo ele está situado numa rua bem tranquila. A Mônica nos recebeu muito bem, cuidava de tudo, houve até um livrinho com dicas para restaurantes, supermecados e muitas outras informacoes úteis! Eu e minha namorada nos hospedamos durante algumas noites para ir ao evento Rock in Rio, o lugar é muito bem localizado e muito arrumadinho, perto das praias e de tudo que era necessário. Monica é uma pessoa extremamente atenciosa e nos surpreendeu com a dedicação de nos repassar informações referentes ao evento e a pontos de interesse próximos ao local.

My girlfriend and I stayed at her beautiful apartment for 2 weeks, during which she was nothing but kind, honest, helpful, and straightforward. She is super clean and organized, and I was so impressed with her attention to detail. The apartment itself is amazing as well: Totally clean and has everything you need. Perfect for couples. The location is fabulous, and Monica has left a good deal of helpful information for you if you're a tourist looking for advice. In sum: Our stay in Rio could not have been better, in large part because of Monica and her cozy apartment. As someone who has lived in Rio for the past 8 months (and have lived in 4 apartments), I can tell you that you won't do better than this apartment and its wonderful host! :)

The point that I want to highlight and was the most important to me was that Monica was very very compliant with everything she said. This is also true for the conditions of the appartment. The appartment was very clean and exactly as specified in the pictures and description and also the hand over was so easy (Monica said she will be there at that time and she was). Really really good. In addition, I have to say that the appartment was in very good condition and in an excellent location. Also Monica is the best help as a tourist guide and provided all information we need to organize our trip. Strongly recommend!!!

Tudo estava absolutamente limpo e organizado, fazendo parecer que éramos os primeiros a nos hospedar lá, o apartamento foi perfeito para acomodar confortavelmente eu e meu namorado. A localização é outro destaque positivo, nas proximidades do apartamento encontram-se farmácias, mercados, lanchonetes e restaurantes, além disso, as praias de Copacabana e Ipanema estão uma em cada extremidade da avenida próxima ao apartamento, chega-se facilmente à elas. Para andar de ônibus também é bem tranquilo pois há pontos de todas as linhas localizados em ruas e avenidas muito próximas ao apartamento, e para táxis, ao lado do prédio, é sempre possível encontrar alguns parados, quase como um ponto. Por fim, destaco que ter uma anfitriã que nos aguardava quando chegamos, que passou informações e dicas muito úteis para nossa estadia, que se colocou a disposição, e que foi nos encontrar para que nos despedíssemos, fez toda a diferença, Mônica realmente faz com que nos sintamos em casa! Foi a primeira experiências pelo airbnb e com certeza, primeira de muitas. Não há nada do que possamos reclamar. A hostess e o imóvel são mais do que indicados por nós! Valeu muito a pena!

Apartment at the highest level, very very clean, very comfortable, it has everything you need, just a 5-minute walk from Copacabana beach and 10 minutes from Ipanema. You also can walk to lake, it`s near too. Monica has a lot of brochures which collected all necessary information about Rio. Speed of wi fi perfect. If it chooses a flat sure only get the best impressions from living in Rio.

Jun 27, 2019We were so happy to be with Monica and the neighborhood where her apartment is. She greeted us when we arrived which was later than we expected, showed us into the apartment and made us feel completely at ease. The apartment is very nice - clean and functional with a modern kitchen and amenities. We loved the neighborhood. There is a Metro stop literally right out the door and we were just three blocks from Copacabana which is everything you have seen and heard ---wonderful to walk and enjoy whiling away your days, swimming, sunning and people watching. It is also an easy walk to Ipanema with eclectic neighborhoods and famous beach. Every morning we would walk to a coffee shop where we got to know the sweet little girl who served us and have a delicious espresso or cappuccino with a ham and egg breakfast and fresh orange juice. A great shopping street for clothes, shoes, bags plus plus at good prices. Taxis were always available and all the drivers know Monica's street and the apartment location. She was there to meet us when it was time to leave and we have nothing but good memories of our stay in Rio. Thank you Monica. A Happy New Year and good things always. Julie and Michael
Jun 27, 2019In one word: AMAZING!!!!! About... MONICA: she was so helpful and clear since our first contact by mail/sms. She was waiting for us outside the maindoor of the building. She gave us a bottle of wine as christmas gift. She refounded us cause TV was not working normally (even if not necessary but sth appreciated and very nice of her). STUDIO: the studio is absolutely well located, just between Copacabana and Ipanema, with Metro St at the house exit, with bus stop at 200mt, with nearby shops/bars/restaurants. There are maps and many important info in brochures. We found the flat very clean, bed/bathroom/kitchen are perfect as you can see from the pictures. RIO: it's big, multicultural, interesting city. Not as dangerous as people say. Full of police but with organization / info points to improve. I'll go back for sure and obviously staying at Monica's Studio.
Jun 27, 2019Monica was an excellent host and her place was perfect - it was bright, clean, the bed was comfy and it had everything you needed. Oh and did I mention the neighborhood! This location was right in the heart of everything but still very quiet and safe. Monica also had a lot of great recommendations and was very accommodating with our departures and arrival times. I would very much recommend Monica and her place.

The host Monica is great and she has compiled a list of what to do ,to see , to eat in the area and she even recommend me some great chinese restaurants in Rio. overall , i have enjoyed my stay and i am sure i will be back again. sc
Jun 27, 2019Monica was a great host providing us with loads of cool information on what to enjoy in the area that was off the tourist track. The apartment was perfect for the two of us and the air conditioning was a nice break from the hot days. It's in an amazing location only 10 minute walk to both copacabana and ipanema beaches. It's super clean and comfortable and Monica made us feel very at home, even leaving us some lovely local prosecco as a honeymoon treat for us. The book with recommendations and maps was really appreciated too. Have already recommended this place to other travellers as the perfect place to enjoy the amazing city of Rio de Janeiro.

Perfect little clean apartment which was in a great neighborhood close to everything , Copacabana and Ipanema beach were both only a 10 min walk and the metro line was right outside the apartment ! I am very happy with the whole experience and would definitely stay there again !
Jun 27, 2019EXCELENTE! El dpto es mas lindo y luminoso que en la fotos. Genial para parejas. Limpio, seguro, con aire y todo funciona. Esta en la puerta del subte. A 3 cuadras de la parte mas linda de Copacabana y un par de los bares de Ipanema. Todo se puede hacer facil y caminando. Todos los comercios necesarios en la zona. Monica 10 ptos, pues te deja una carpeta con info turistica y util, ademas de guias de Rio. Ademas nos pudimos retirar tarde del dpto sin ningun problema. Seguro volveremos

Nos esperó un buen rato debido a que nuestro vuelo se retrasó por lo que estamos muy agradecidos de ella. El departamento es fantástico, tiene todo lo que uno necesita, funciona todo a la perfección y está bellamente decorado. La ubicación es perfecta, a la salida del metro y muy cerca de las playas de Copacabana e Ipanema. Sin duda, recomendable al 100%, si vuelvo a Río creo que no dudaría en alojarme aquí. Una maravilla de apartamento.
Jun 27, 2019Super hiper recomendo! A Mônica é super simpática, muito bacana! O apt é ótimo, uma graça, super charmoso. Fica a 500mt da praia, tem uma estação de metrô e de bike literalmente na frente da portaria do prédio. A Mônica ainda organizou todo o apt com guias, manuais e dicas. Recomendo demais, vá sem medo! Mônica is a great hostess! Her apartment is amazing, really cozy and charming. 500 mts walk from the beach with a metro (sub) and a bike station literaly by the building's entrance. Mônica has organized the apt with guides, manuals and tips for both brazilians and foreigner. I highly recommend it!
Jun 27, 2019Monica Realmente es una excelente persona, tuvimos una atencion de primera desde el primer momento que llegamos a Rio hasta el ultimo dia q nos fuimos, nos envio a buscar al aeropuerto y hasta nos coordino un taxi el día que nos ibamos, nos dio toda la info para movernos en rio, estuvo constantemente preguntando como estabamos y se preocupo todo el tiempo por la estadia. Cuenta con muchos detalles para la comodidad de los usuarios como: secador de pelo, muy buenos juegos de toallas, vajilla de cocina super completa y detalles más personales como productos de tocador. Destacado: Mónica incluye en su departamento información de interés y guías turísticas para conocer los mejores puntos de Rio. El servicio de Internet y TV por cable funciona perfecto. El barrio es muy lindo y el departamento está muy bien ubicado, muy cerca de la playa. La verdad, es altamente recomendable!!!

Monica es una excelente anfitriona, nos recibio muy bien, ayudandonos a orientarnos y sobre las cosas que podiamos hacer y visitar en nuestra estadia.
Jun 27, 2019Es la segunda vez que utilizo airbnb para viajar y gracias a mi estadia donde Mónica puedo decir que es un excelente servicio. Mónica te recibe desde el primer día dándote todas las indicaciones importantes de Rio en una carpeta y mapas. Ademas te hace sentir como en casa en la comodidad de un hotel ( a nosotros nos coloco, mani, shampoo, jabon y toallas en el estudio). Por otro lado el estudio es perfecto para unas vacaciones en rio, es pequeño pero tiene todo lo que necesitas y queda justo en frente de al estación de metro general Osorio y paradas de buses con lo cual te puedes desplazar en todo rio, además de ser una zona muy segura. Por ultimo queda cerca de las mejores playas ( a pasos del posto 6 de Copacabana y de ipanema). lo recomiendo 100%
Jun 27, 2019Monica has a wonderful studio-appartment and is an absolutely great host. The appartment is in a very safe neighbourhood, right across a subway station. This is not only very easy in getting around, but also makes sure that there are always plenty of people on the streets, even at night. Walking to the beaches of Ipanema or Copacobana takes only 5 minutes. The appartment is squeeky clean and Monica has made a information booklet wich helps getting around in the city. The appartment comes complete with towels, kanga's for the beach, wifi, shampooo/soaps and a little chocolate for welcome. We stayed here for 5 nights and can highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone wanting to check-out Rio!

Jun 27, 2019The Studio was very clean in a good building with security. The location was great, just 2 blocks from Copacabana Beach and in front of metro station. Monica (our host) was very helpful. She informed us how to reach her place, at her home she gave us information about good restaurants and beautiful places with the map, which helped us a lot. Monica is a great host. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Jun 27, 2019We stayed in the flat during the worldcup. All I can say, is that we had a great stay in a perfect location. All communication upfront happend very easily. Monica is very responsive too. Due to delays with our flight, we arrived only at 2am. Monica waited for us, so we could get in. The appartment is modern and very clean. We had all we needed. Monica provided towels too. You have airco and wifi which works well. Finally, the location is great: less than 5 minutes walking from both Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. And you have a metro station and city bikes just in front. So a great recommendation if you go Rio!

Jun 27, 2019Monica's apartment was wonderful, and she is a generous and considerate host. The apartment itself is five steps from the metro, and five minutes walk from the beach. The bed is extremely comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed. Our flight wasn't until 9pm, so Monica arranged for us to take our bags to her sister's place so we could spend our last day in Rio without having to worry about them. She also booked a taxi to the airport for us, which was much cheaper than using a meter-taxi. Thanks for a wonderful stay Monica.
Jun 27, 2019Highly recommend!! The absolute best deal in town! The space is well kept and fully equipped. Location is easy. Don't know if this was mentioned in previous reviews but across the street is a little cafe/restaurant that serves all meals all times of day! Monica has mastered hosting. She has a mini concierge desk in the room with all the insider tips. Monica was also extremely easy to get a hold off and has really good english.

She had already in place a folder with key information such as nearby restaurants, wi-fi password, maps, important phone numbers, etc. several pages of very useful information. Moreover, we had plenty of towels, a very clean apt, some goodies waiting for us, etc. And Monica was available via whazup at virtually any time. She responded to inquiries very fast. I highly recommend Monica Costa as your future host, as she cares about her guests.

Jun 27, 2019We spent 4 nights at Monica's flat in Rio and had a fantastic trip. The flat was absolutely perfect. The property was quiet at night and just a two minute bike ride from the beach. We loved the fact that a public bike stop was right outside the gate to the flat. We used them every day! Monica couldn't have been kinder and our stay in Rio at her flat was absolutely perfect! She is a communicative and helpful host, always available over (Hidden by Airbnb) or email. The apt was super clean and really one of the best choice of our trip: directly above the metro station, at walking distance to both Ipanema and Copacabana beaches and well equipped. The neighborhood is safe also during the night and there are a lot of bars and restaurants nearby, easily reachable by walking. It is a perfect starting point for discovering a cidade meravillosa. Les photos de l'appartement sont conformes. Appartement très propre avec une décoration soignée. Les plages de Copacabana et d'Ipanéma sont accessibles à pied en moins de 10 minutes. Commerces et restaurant tout près.

The apartment is very pleasing and contains everything necessary to be comfortable while we stayed there. Some notables: there was a water filter installed and we had very reliable internet. Jun 27, 2019The best place in Rio! You will feel like an authentic "carioca"(native). You can go walking to the beach and also to many restaurants nearby. There is a metro entrance just in front of the flat. As for the city, I spent 4 days, did so much things, but still not enough. I left the city already with a list of "to do's" for the next opportunity. And, finally, the host: Monica was always very helpful. She gathered a lot of experience hosting for almost 2 years in the AIRBNB. As a result she has plenty of guides that can match just what you want to experience in your trip. She also made a guide with (Hidden by Airbnb) maps prints, pointing hers favorites options. What more to say? Excellent!
Jun 27, 2019This was an excellent airbnb choice. Organising everything with Monica is super easy and she is extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment is perfect for Rio. The location simply can't be beaten - walking distance to both Ipanema and Copacabana beaches and steps from the metro with loads of restaurants and bars in close proximity. But the apartment is also in a very quiet street. The apartment itself is great - spotlessly clean with good wifi and a comfortable bed. Will definitely stay here again on future Rio trips.

A anfitriã muito querida e muito educada, nos recepcionou na chegada e deixou diversas dicas sobre lugares. O apartamento é muito bem equipado e a Mônica tem um acervo de mapas, guias, dicas que é impossível se perder no Rio. Obrigado pela receptividade, Mônica. Pretendemos voltar em breve!

The flat is very nice with a perfect space for a couple.the location is just ideal next to the tube station and 10 min walk to Ipanema or Copacabana beach. Very safe. Jun 27, 2019wirklich schöne Unterkunft mit Bad und Küche, sehr nette sehr hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Sehr sauber. Gute Lage fußläufig zu ipanema und copacabana. Gute Verkehrsverbindungen mit U-Bahnhof direkt vor der Tür und diversen Bussen auf halben Weg zum Strand. Davon einer Art Sackgasse gelegen trotzdem sehr ruhig. Nach unserer Erfahrung sichere Gegend. Herzlichen Dank für die Nette Aufnahme.

Jun 27, 2019Super séjour dans le studio de Monica !! Je recommande vivement cet appartement et cette hôtesse. En effet, l'appartement est idéalement situé pour les touristes: entre copacabana et ipaneima, et surtout, au pied du métro ce qui est bien pratique ici. Studio très propre, il paraît neuf, très agréable pour un couple. Concernant Monica, très bon accueil également! Détails précis pour arriver sans difficulté au studio, accueil chaleureux et surtout Monica prend le temps de nous donner des conseils (touristiques, transport, resto, laverie...). Elle est également très disponible par la suite si besoin (réservation de taxi...). Un grand merci Monica de nous avoir permis de passer un si beau séjour à Rio !! À bientôt à paris peut être ?!

The apartment is renovated and it's ideal for for one or two ppl, I can't wait to return for a longer stay! I strongly recommend it and would book it again. Monica greeted us even though it was later then expected and took time explaining the locality and any questions we had, me and my partner loved the decor and it was spotless. Jun 27, 2019O apartamento é exatamente aquilo que está descrito. Possui toda estrutura para uma excelente hospedagem: cama confortável, ar condicionado, banheiro adequado, internet, TV a cabo, cozinha completa (com utensílios), toalhas e cangas (para as mulheres). Há vários guias no balcão, que auxiliam os passeios. Na semana do Natal de 2014 havia muito policiamento em toda a região, o que nos transmitiu muita segurança. O apartamento é muito bem localizado, está a poucas quadras das praias de Ipanema e Copacabana (fica muito próximo aos postos 5 e 6, região muito bem recomendada), do Forte de Copacabana (recomendamos o café da manhã, a partir das 10h, exceto na segunda) e da Pedra do Arpoador (assista o pôr do sol, por volta das 19h). Bem servido por transporte público, é possível conhecer os principais pontos do Rio pegando ônibus por ali: Cristo, Pão de Açúcar, Jardim Botânico, Maracanã, centro e muitos outros . Há também um metro na porta, mas não o utilizamos. Há várias opções de restaurantes na região, para todos os gostos e bolsos. Apesar disso, a rua é super tranquila e garante noites tranquilas de sono. Além de tudo isso, a Mônica foi super simpática e atenciosa, nos recebeu muito bem. Enfim, eu e minha esposa tivemos uma maravilhosa semana no Rio de Janeiro, hospedados neste excelente local.

Sempre prestativa e preocupada de como estava sendo nossa estadia. O Studio é uma bem localizado, limpo e organizado com todos os equipamentos funcionando corretamente. Local seguro e tranquilo de frente ao metrô, e pertinho das praias de Copacabana e Ipanema. Como o calor estava muito no periodo em que passamos no Rio, era um alegria chegar no Studio e desfrutar de um bom ar condicionado e assistir boa tv de assinatura, além do wifi que era ótimo. Jun 27, 2019El departamento es perfecto. Tal como se ve en las fotos, tiene todo lo que se necesita como para sentirte en casa. Es ideal para dos personas. Está bien equipado y cuenta con un potente aire acondicionado y un ventilador de techo (ideales para los calores extremos de Río). Tiene un purificador de agua, lo que evita comprar agua mineral todo el tiempo. Está ubicado estratégicamente entre Copacabana e Ipanema, lo cual permite seleccionar la playa a la que ir cada día (ambas están a pocas cuadras). La zona es muy segura, muy linda y bien conectada con el metro de la ciudad: hay una entrada en la puerta principal. Hay numerosos supermercados y comercios. Mónica es una excelente anfitriona. Te da muy buena información sobre la ciudad (esa que sólo los locales tienen), soluciona cualquier potencial problema, y mantiene comunicación en tiempo real para cualquier cosa que necesites. La entrada y la salida han sido muy bien coordinadas. Y por si fuera poco, ella nos contrató un taxi al aeropuerto por una suma muy conveniente. En suma, no dudaría en volver a rentar este departamento. La ecuación calidad, precio y servicio, sumada a Río da un resultado perfecto. La mejor experiencia que uno se pueda imaginar!
Jun 27, 2019Eu e meu namorado fomos muito bem recepcionados no apto da Monica. Ela foi uma fofa, nos explicou como funcionava a estadia e nos deu dicas de lugares para visitar no final de semana. O apto é excelente, completo, limpo e com uma decoração de muito bom gosto. Um ponto super positivo é o fato do prédio estar localizado na frente da estação de metrô General Osório, o que facilitou muito a nossa vida, já que estávamos com pouca grana para andar de táxi e tivemos que nos deslocar para o Centro, Botafogo e Maracanã. A vizinhança é tranquila e há policiamento nas ruas do entorno. Amamos!! Foi o melhor lugar que ficamos até agora no RJ e com certeza retornaremos. Super indico!!

Está muy bien ubicado para poder recorrer cualquier punto de Rio: a cuadras de las playas de Copacabana e Ipanema, frente al subte y a una cuadra de donde pasan todos los omnibus. Además Mónica estuvo siempre presente para lo que quisiéramos, nos permitió dejar el equipaje mas temprano y nos hizo una muy buena introducción para recorrer Rio (con muchos datos que nos dejó para facilitarnos la estadía). Si vuelvo a Rio no dudo en ir de vuelta a este hermoso departamento.

Excelente localização, a bike do Itaú na porta do prédio é fenomenal, bem como a estação do metrô. Enfim, recomendo e com certeza numa próxima estadia tentarei ficar no apto da Mônica. Jun 27, 2019Monica was a lovely and very helpful host. The apartment is in the perfect location.. In between Ipanema and Copacabana beach. Right outside the apartment is the train station and also bikes which can be rented if you get a Brazilian sim. We loved the bikes! We rode them everywhere which helped us avoid taxi costs. The bike ride around the Lagoa is beautiful. Everything is within walking distance.. Definitely recommend this apartment.. We will be staying here again when we return.

Jun 27, 2019Monica ist eine nette und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber und jederzeit offen für jegliche Fragen. Wir haben uns in dem Apartment sehr wohl gefühlt und haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Durch die optimale Lage kann man Strände wie auch Metro und Busstationen schnell erreichen. Bei einem nächsten Brasilienbesuch würden wir sicher wieder bei Monica buchen. Können wir nur weiter empfehlen.

Monica was also helpful with plenty of tips for navigating around Rio. I enjoyed the neighborhood as it makes you feel like a local and is near everything you could need in a city. It is an excellent location. I would love to come back to her place.

Jun 27, 2019Al llegar encontramos en la heladera bebidas frescas para tomar Había ropa de cama y toallones adicionales en el placard, como así también almohadas y almohadones.El baño tenía los amenities necesarios al igual que una pequeña pileta para lavar y tender alguna ropa. También Mónica nos dejó lonas para la playa, había reposera (y hasta una sombrilla que no llegamos a usar). La wifi y la tv excelentes. A poco más de 100 metros hay colectivos para todos los lugares que quieras ir. Bajando el edificio está la entrada al metro OSORIO. El barrio es lindo. De noche es preferible manejarse en taxi, aunque hemos llegado de noche sin problemas y hay mucha vigilancia policial en los alrededores.
Jun 27, 2019This was my first trip to Rio, and I was so pleased with my experience. Staying at Monica's was a delight! My flight was delayed by several hours, but Monica was super warm and welcoming and flexible. Her studio is very cute and just as described, in a very safe feeling little neighborhood, at the entrance of the metro, next to a bikeshare station, and easily within walking distance of Copacabana and Ipenema beaches. Monica was super available throughout my stay, always available if I had a question, and provided lots of good orientation on arrival. She was also very flexible on letting my check in early and check out late. I highly recommend staying with Monica!

El departamento tenía todo lo necesario para pasar unos lindos dias en rio de janeiro, supero ampliamente mis expectativas. Es la quinta vez que voy a Rio, y fue el mejor departamento que he alquilado. Muy bien equipado, con todos los detalles. La ubicación es muy buena, a 3 cuadras de la playa de copacabana y a 5 de ipanema con todo a mano.. salida del metro al frente, para alquilar bicicletas "bike rio" al metros del departamento. She then gave us all kinds of tips and maps on where to find everything nearby. The apartment is just as it appears in the photos and our favorite aspect is the location. The apartment is a short walk to Ipanema and Copacabana and there is a metro station literally out front. We highly recommend this apartment!!

The apartment itself had everything i needed. The bathroom very modern. The bed was comfortable. Monica was there when i arrived and gave me helpful information about the area. As bikes do Itaú ficam em frente ao prédio, assim como uma estação de metro, o que ajuda MUITO. A Monica nos recebeu e foi muito atenciosa. Recomendo e pretendo voltar outras vezes.
Jun 27, 2019We had a fantastic time in Rio during our stay in Monica's apartment. Apartment was spotless and indeed perfect for couples. Location is great. Right in between Copacabana beach and Ipanema beach (max 10 minutes walk to either one) in a safe neighborhood eight in front of the metrostation and bike station (Bike Rio). Monica has prepared an extensive map with handy tips how to get to places, how much it costs and how long it takes approximately. During our checkin she gave us a few extra recommendations after asking us about our interests. She was also very flexible with a very early checkin and late checkout. Taking all this into account, we are absolutely delighted to have chosen this apartment for our stay in Rio. Next time in Rio we will definitely try to stay here again. Totally recommended!
Jun 27, 2019We arrived at Monica's apartment after a 26 hour journey and she made us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door. The apartment was very clean with everything we needed in a safe building which was in a good location- walking distance to a supermarket and bus stop. Monica was extremely helpful and provided us with maps, guide books and a fantastic manual which had every piece of information we could ever need! She encouraged us to get in touch with her if we had any questions but had covered everything in the manual! All in all, a very good base to explore Rio De Janeiro!

Estuvo atenta en la semana por si necesitabamos algo. Pasamos una semana espectacular en Rio! El departamento es tal cual muestran las fotos. O apartamento estava impecável, limpo e exatamente como mostram as (Website hidden by Airbnb) tv a cabo e internet funcionando super bem. A localização é excelente, fizemos muitos passeios a pé, ficando bem próximas de copacabana e ipanema; além disso a estação de metro e de bikes do Itau e bem em frente o prédio. Jun 27, 2019The studio is great, clean, well situated (very closed from both Ipanema and Copacabana beaches) and very well equipped. Monica thought of all possible needs you may have (from hairdryer to beach towels to tourism instructions to kitchen equipment etc...) While we encountered a small water issue she immediately took care of everything and found solutions. Overall, Monica is a great host and clearly deserves her super host title! Thank you again for your kindness and flexibility!

Jun 27, 2019Llegar al apartamento de Monica es muy facil, y las fotos que aparecen del mismo no mienten para nada. La ubicación es perfecta, ideal para poder salir caminando de noche tanto a copacabana como a ipanema. El tener la parada de metro en frente es tambien un placer y muy comodo para trasladarse hasta otros puntos turisticos de Rio. Monica es super servicial y atenta, muy bien otorgado su award!! La verdad nuestra estadia en su apartamento fue ideal y lo super recomiendo. El barrio quizas tiene un poco de olor a querolina y pis de gato, pero es solo una cuadra al salir del apartamento, por eso no le doy 5 estrellas, pero definitivamente, cuando vuelva a rio, me quedare en el apartamento de Monica.

Fica próximo a tudo porém a rua é super silenciosa a noite o que me proporcionou ótimas noites de sono. Recomendo a todos e com certeza voltarei.

O apto e justamente como apresentado aqui. É super bem localizado com entrada de metrô em frente do prédio, e com menos de 10 minutos a pé das duas praias (Copacabana e Ipanema). Mónica já escreveu uma guia para quem interessa com dicas bastante uteis. Não tenho reclamações, não. Ela me recebeu pessoalmente o primeiro dia, explicou tudo e me deixou pra aproveitar da cidade. This was my first time in Rio and first time using Airbnb, so I was nervous, but Monica put all my fears to rest. She was really professional, very responsive and super helpful. She even printed up a guide for tourists in various languages. The apartment is just as described and presented here. It's very well-located, with the metro right outside the front gate of the building. I always felt safe. It's 10 minutes walking distance from either Copacabana and Ipanema, and any groceries you may need to buy. I don't have any complaints. Jun 27, 2019Monica was a warm, welcoming and accommodating hostess. She always responded promptly to our questions/requests. In the apartment, she had an assortment of guides and maps. On top of that, she even created a binder with local restaurants and activities she recommends! The apartment was clean and in a quiet and secure neighborhood; we could not have asked for a better location (10 minute walk to Ipanema beach, metro station entrance right outside the apartment). She was flexible when our flight was delayed (we arrived late) and gave us a nice, in-person overview of the apartment and neighborhood. This was our first Air BnB experience and we are very satisfied. We would certainly recommend staying at Monica's again.

Van alle (noodzakelijke) gemakken voorzien en het makkelijke contact met verhuurder maakte dat wij ons snel thuis voelden. Wij kunnen eigenlijk geen negatieve woorden bedenken dus met andere woorden een aanrader! Wij hebben er heerlijke dagen gehad en genoten van de gastvrijheid van Rio. Zelfs aanwezigheid van map met tips :-)

Jun 27, 2019A Mónica foi extremamente simpática e atenciosa connosco desde a nossa chegada ao Brasil. Esperou por nós até tarde e preparou mesmo a nossa chegada oferecendo boas dicas para a cidade. Sempre disponível para nos responder (via telefone, (Hidden by Airbnb) , ...) foi uma boa ajuda para resolver algumas das questões que aparecem normalmente (taxis, transportes, ...). A casa correspondia totalmente ao apresentado no anúncio. É um bom apartamento, com tudo muito limpo e organizado, uma óptima localização: meio caminho da praia de Copacabana e Ipanema, walking distance da praia de 5 min, com metro e bicicletas à porta (literalmente!), porteiro e com bastantes serviços perto (supermercados Zona Sul, restaurantes, cafés, ...). Quando um dia voltar ao Rio irei sem dúvida tentar alugar o mesmo apartamento, aconselho!

El estudio es tal cual lo describe Mónica y aparece en fotos, es cálido, confortable, y tiene todo lo necesario para una estadía turística. Lamento no haber conocido a Mónica personalmente, aunque su cuñado fue muy amable al esperarnos para entregar la llave, y enseñarnos diferentes lugares donde ir en Río. Seguramente volveremos a Río.

A localização do apartamento é ótima e para ajudar a Monica é super organizada e tem um guia com recomendações do que há de melhor na região do apartamento e também da cidade. She was there at the apt when I arrived and told me a bit about the area surrounding the apt, as well as showing me a folder that she compiled with great tips, maps and other useful information for those visiting Rio de Janeiro for the first time. The apt was very clean and in a great location. I always felt safe even when walking back late at night. I will definitely consider this place again when I return to Rio.

The place is well situated for the beach and shops and in front of one of the metro stations. Great for people watching whilst having your morning coffee! The apartment is in a great location between Ipanema and Copacabana, and also has great access to the metro for reaching other parts of the city. The apartment itself is a decent size for 1-2 people, with extra towels and sheets for the stay. The kitchen is well equipped too. Overall, this was a great option for us and we would stay again.

Jun 27, 2019If you are looking for an affordable, clean, spacious and perfect located appartment in one of the most beautiful cities in the world - congratulations, you've found one!! Monica is a very professional and polite host. She told us everything you need to know for a perfect start so that you won't have any questions and if there are any you can contact her every time. The appartment is very spacious and has got a modern interior. The kitchen gots everything you need and you are able to drink water from the installed filter. To visit the beach you only need to walk 10 minutes while you are passing a supermarket, restaurants and - absolutely great - a metro station just in front of the house (it's not visible on (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps but it's the General Osorio station). From there you get to all interesting places very easy, fast and cheap. The appartment doesn't have a nice view out of the window and sometimes it's a bit loud because of the noises resounding between the houses. But if I would recommend an appartment in the center of a vibrant city than this and if I could also give stars to the host Monica would get 5 of it. So please don't hesitate to book this appartment - you won't regret it!

Jun 27, 2019Monica was so lovely and helpful. When I got in she walked me through all the ins and outs of Rio. I was so grateful. The studio was VERY clean and well equipped. There were umbrellas for the afternoon rain, beach chair, power adapter, etc. I loved the location too. It was definitely more locals which I enjoyed. that being said, it was still an easy walk to Ipanema where I enjoyed spending most of my time.

The best apartment I have ever been in Brazil (I spent 17 days in the country) The apartment is very clean, confortable, very secured ( there is a doorman), with all you need ( filtered water, towels, wifi, tv, air conditioning), next the metro station (just down the building), easy to take a taxi, next copacabana beach, easy to visit the monuments, restaurants... Monica is very available, helpful (she books a taxi for us). She gave us a lot of advices. Our stay in rio was wonderful!!! Thank a lot Monica.

She has made this file you can read when you arrive about good restaurants on the map, cambio places, prices of taxis etc! Like a small local lonely planet for you about Rio and there is also many books and guides you can find good information!

The studio was exactly as described. The locations is perfect. The metro station entrance on the front door is really helpful.

I even went to some of the restaurants and vars she recommended and they were all great. She was caring and helpful, and even booked my taxi to the airport when I was leaving. The Apartment is comfortable, clean, well-kept, cute, and literally 5 minutes from both Ipanema and Copacabana beaches. It was perfect for me, as I was travelling alone, but I feel it would be just as comfortable for two. It was a pleasure staying at her flat and I recommend it highly! Eu the amo, Monica!

Very safe area and direct access to the metro to get around the city. Stop looking and just book you wont regret it. Being my first time using Airbnb i was nervous but for no reason enjoyed everything about our stay.

A lo largo de la estadía fuimos haciéndole preguntas que fueron contestadas al instante. El departamento esta re bien ubicado. Es muy cómodo y equipado. Incluso algunas noches cocinamos y cenamos con todos los utensillos de aca. En ningún momento sentimos peligro o inseguridad por la noche. Super recomendable!

The apartment is ideal for a couple or single person staying in Rio. Monica was very flexible with our early arrival and gave us accurate directions on how to get to the apartment's location. Monica introduced us to the apartment and all of its amenities. The best part; Monica took her time to explain all of Rio's amazing activities. She is well organized and showed us plenty of tourist maps, books and suggestion booklet on arrival. Location Location is as A+ as the host. The apartment's location is right in the middle of everything. Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon are steps away (not to mention Arpoador). The metro station is downstairs which can take you from Lapa all the way to Barra da Tijuca. Apartment This is my 6th trip to Rio. Rio apartments for the most part are small. Monica's apartment is a good size and has everything you need (6 days for me and my gf). It was clean and well organized when we arrived.

Jun 27, 2019Monica is AMAZING! The most organised and thorough host I have ever had, what a lovely person. She really made everything so easy. Maps, guides to restaurants and local areas, suggestions all in a file! Beach umbrella, cleaning products, kitchen essentials all great. The area is great and very convenient to get to Copacabana and Ipanema areas. Right next to a train station. It was so brilliant! My only problem was there is no hot water in the kitchen or bathroom sinks so washing dishes and shaving were difficult and the shower did not get hot enough. However i think this is a Rio thing and not exclusive to this fantastic place, Thanks Monica.

We found the location to be excellent: it takes about 10 minutes to walk to either Copacabana or Ipanema beach; General Osorio is a major station from which many areas of the city can be accessed, including Lapa and a 10 minute Metro ride to Largo do Machado where you can get an official van up to Corcovado; a R$15 Uber ride to the cable car at Sugarloaf; and it only cost us R$45 to get an Uber to the international airport. The flat itself is great, with everything you need, and Monica is an extremely kind and helpful host.

Jun 27, 2019Monica is a very friendly host and the appartment is clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. The Metro station is right in front of the door, if you want to use it. In general the appartment is located in a relatively quiet street. What maybe has to be mentioned is that a favela community entrance is not far away.

Jun 27, 2019Monica est une personne très gentille et serviable. Elle nous a rendu service en acceptant de venir déposer nos bagages 3 jours avant notre date d'arrivée dans l'appartement. Ce qui nous a beaucoup aidé ! Pour ce qui est de la localisation de l'appartement, très très bien situé, entre Ipanema et Copacabana. Nous pouvions à pied se rendre à l'un ou l'autre sans problème. Un métro juste au pied de l'immeuble, très pratique ! La vie nocturne aussi est très appréciable et pas un sentiment d'insécurité car comme précisé dans d'autres commentaires, l'immeuble est surveillé par un concierge et portail de sécurité. Pour ce qui est de l'appartement, à notre arrivée il était très propre, spatieux pour deux personnes, la SDB très bien aussi. Rien à dire de plus. Niveau qualité prix , cet appartement est à saisir pour votre passage à Rio. Thanks again Monica

Jun 27, 2019Sejour agréable à Rio, notamment grâce à ce logement bien situé : au pied du métro, dans un coin calme et immeuble sécurisé. A 10 min à pied de Copacabana, et un petit quart d'heure pour rejoindre Ipanema. J'y retournerais sans hésitation.

It is close to the beach and some markets as well. Monica is a great host who is available to answer questions and help with tourist information. Definitely recommend this airbnb!
Jun 27, 2019Ótima relação custo X benefício. Próximo ao metrô, praia de copacabana, Ipanema, supermercados, bancos... apartamento aconchegante, espaçoso e limpo. O contato com a Mônica foi fácil, além de ser uma pessoa muito simpática e (Website hidden by Airbnb) certeza voltaria e recomendo ;)
Jun 27, 2019The apartent is perfect! close to everything, great internet, kitchen with all elements. the street is one block from a favela, but at any time is very safe, the police is always there. there a little bar open until midnight across the street. Always it is a street with a lot of people until late, so we feel safe. All the busses stop are close and the metro just outside the building. thank you very much Monica

O apartamento estava repleto de surpresinhas: cerveja gelada, sabonete, material limpeza, ... É delicioso: ensolarado, decorado com simplicidade mas muito bom gosto, limpo, confortável, silencioso e com metrô na porta de casa! Qdo retornarmos ao Rio, queremos nos hospedar aí novamente.

Recomendado 100% para hospedarse en una visita a Rio.

Jun 27, 2019A Mônica é uma excelente anfitriã, nos recebeu super bem e nos passou ótimas dicas de lugares para visitar, utilização de transporte público, táxis, uber, no apto ela deixou diversos guias da cidade e um guia ótimo montado por ela mesma, com informações muito úteis !!! O estúdio é mto bom e abastecido com o necessário para uma estada confortável. Localizado em frente a uma das saídas da estação de metrô General Osório e tem por perto restaurantes, mercados, farmácia, etc.. além de estar pertinho das praias de Ipanema e Copacabana. Muito obrigada por td Mônica !!!
Jun 27, 2019O studio da Mônica é exatamente como na foto. Na frente do metrô, há poucos minutos da praia de Copacabana e há poucos minutos da praia do Arpoador (bem no meio do caminho). A rua bem calma e bem tranquila para quem estava viajando sozinha. O espaço é super bem arejado e iluminado, bem limpo e tudo bem zelado. A Mônica me esperou até tarde para pegar as chaves, e foi muito solícita a tudo. Me senti em casa e espero voltar em breve! Adorei o local! =)

It has the best location someone can chose in Rio (down one street and you are on Ipanema beach and if you follow the other street you are in the middle of Copacabana). Apt is really strategically located in-between, you got a juice bar just next to it, metro is literally in front of the doors, supermarket is in the same street. Apt is cute n comfortable. It has an efficient AC, so you will be able to sleep even when the hottest weather kicks in. Perfect place for a one or two persons. I will definitely stay here next yr ;) Monica is very responsive, so you wont have problems getting in touch with her!

Em relação ao apartamento, o espaço é muito agradável, limpo e bastante confortável, equipado com todos os itens para uma boa estadia. Enfim, os dias que passamos aqui foram perfeitos superando nossas expectativas.
Jun 27, 2019We loved the place. The studio was very clean and nice neighborhood. The subway is right at the door of the apartament building and very close to Copacabana & Ipanema. It’s perfect for a couple. Lots of stores, restaurants and supermarkets. Mónica is very nice and if there is something to inform her, she answers you promptly. I highly recommend this little cozy studio. It’s perfect.

Jun 27, 2019Recomiendo mucho hospedarse en lo de Mónica, el departamento está excelentemente ubicado en medio de las distintas playas y tiene todo cerca, la zona es muy linda y se puede ir caminando a todos lados. Reservamos el apartamento de un día para el otro y ella fue muy amable con nosotros, manteniendose en contacto. Ideal para una o dos personas, el edificio tiene encargado en la puerta, y todo en la casa funciona bien :). Súper recomendado!

She gave us some great tips on getting to the main sights and was helpful and responsive to messages throughout our stay. I highly recommend Monica's apartment!

It’s right on the cusp between Copacabana and Ipanema, two great areas to explore, with beautiful beaches a short walk from the apartment. The metro stop is right outside, and Monica gave great tips!
