Karla was a great, super friendly host and the apartment and the Library room was very spacious, very clean, and stylish. The location is also excellent in the heart of Gracia and right next to metro station Diagonal. A sunny terrace lets you enjoy the sunn weather. I felt very comfortable and I would recommend a stay at Karla's place anyone!

Jun 27, 2019I had a really nice experience at Karla's place. The flat is located in a strategic point where you can easily access any (touristic) part of the city even by walking, and the price is reasonable (cheap, really). Karla and her family are very kind and willing to help you with everything you may need. You can have access to a well equipped kitchen, and everything in the place is clean. As there were several people in the flat when I stood, it seemed a little like a hostel, but for me it was not a disadvantage but the opposite: we had nice talks and we made friends. But if you are looking for a more private place, probably this may not be the one.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is very big and I got a room with four beds in it. The check-in went well. The bathroom was clean, but the door was broken and thus very loud when opening at night. My room was clean, just as the sheets. However the bunk bed was creaking very easily, just moving made a loud noise, so that sleeping was very hard. Karla was very friendly when asking her if I could change from sleeping on the top of the bunk bed to the bottom. The location was quite central and not far away from bus or metro.
Jun 27, 2019Karla est très sympathique, bien qu'elle ne parle que l'anglais. Cependant, il s'agit plus d'un hostel qu'un appartement... Nous étions au moins 10. Il n'y a qu'une seule salle de bain, donc fallait s'y prévoir. Le wifi n'a jamais fonctionné, ni pour moi, ni pour mon amie...Sinon en général c'est très propre et il y a une cuisine complète. L'appartement est aussi très bien situé: près du quartier gothique et des casa de Gaudi, facilement joignable en métro. Cependant, demander bien l'adresse à Karla avant de vous y rendre, pcq air bnb ne m'a pas fourni la bonne, donc j'ai dû chercher.
Jun 27, 2019If you're looking for a backpackers hostel this is perfect. The room has five beds (not four). Due to being on a busy road it was quite noisy. Karla was welcoming when I arrived and I didn't see her again.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is located in a great part of the city, very close to diagonal metro station which makes it easy to get around. The apartment itself is not as pretty, I think it looks better in the pictures but if you're only looking to sleep it will be just fine. There is only one bathroom which wasn't a problem when I was there but there weren't many people staying there at the time.

Jun 27, 2019Karls's flat is amazing, it's very big, very spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect. You have hot water, wifi and a big terrace. The room is nice and cozy, inside you've got a fan, big windows. Price is reasonable. I look forward to staying again!
Jun 27, 2019It is a spacious house where i met really nice people. Though the wifi conection is really hard to get it specially when there is +14 people trying to connect with it. For some reason one day the host decided to blame me for the dirt in the house (which wasn't done by me, definitely). The fridge was full of food too, I can barely put my food on it, it's like a puzzle. I look forward to come back to Barcelona but in a different hostel.

Jun 27, 2019Karla was pleasant and allowed me keep my bags at her place while I went out to see the city one last time. Her hostel is very centrally located and close tto lots of tourist sites. Only thing is, I thought I had coordinated my early arrival with her, but I think we had a problem ofmiscommunication. She was not very happy to see me on arrival as I had woken her up, although I thought she was well aware of my early arrival. Also, more outlets would be great! Otherwise, not a bad stay at all!

Such a friendly house full of kind people an in depth great neighbourhood to boot Karla's English is pretty good bu it boulder definitely help if you spoke some Spanish. I felt very welcome there and even spent a few nights with her family (who taught me how to play rummy), but also felt free to be in my own an use the space a my own. I never felt that my possessions were at risk and left them unsupervised sometimes for a full day at a time. No loss at all. Overall, had a great time and would definitely go back.

Fui aqui solo para una noche, por eso no he disfrutado muchisimo el atmosfera pero tengo el sentido que eso es un lugar muy carismatico con simple gente y por eso proxima vez volveré a este piso. Karla is nice, she hosted me with many atention and the flat is missing nothing. I was there just for a night so I didn't really enjoyed the place but I had the feeling that this is a really charaismatic atmosphere with simple people and that's why I will come back there for my next trip in barcelona.

Jun 27, 2019Well I have been stay in this apartment of 4 bed dormitory for 8days. I found that the host was not as helpful as what she looks like in the picture.The first impression of the night I check-in was that I don't feel myself welcomed! And the host didn't mention this is a mixed dormitory (mixed gender) in their homepage. I was pretty freak out the first night finding there was a man besides me. I wonder is it a normal practice of not stating clearly in Europe countries, but we have totally different policy in listing in Asia. I was thinking to move the second day but find another Asian gal just check in, and she leave on the same day as me, so then I stay for the rest days. The only thing I like is the location. It is convenient. So if you are not care about the unpleasant feeling of sharing room with the opposite gender and rudely treated by the host. You can then consider.

Jun 27, 2019La habitación es exactamente como se muestra en la foto. Camas cómodas, habitación muy limpia. El piso es grande, se puede usar la cocina y te dan té y café. Tiene una terraza gigante muy agradable. Karla es muy amable y te explica todo muy bien. Volvería sin dudas. Recomendable!

Jul 27, 2019De bedden zijn prima in orde. Verder is het leuk dat je bij Karla en haar kinderen in de huiskamer kunt zitten. De ligging is aan de rand van Gràcia, een wijk die mijn hart gestolen heeft.

Jun 27, 2019Karla's place is lovely, and located in a great area. I enjoyed how convenient it was to get around, with the metro and many shops and restaurants being a short walk away. Her place does host quite a few people at a time, but you would never notice with how clean everything is! I enjoyed meeting the other people also staying in the room. As I was on a budget, this economic and beautiful apartment was perfect for me. Would definitely recommend.
Jun 27, 2019Karla and the place was good. I didn't have a problem with one bathroom for too many people. Bathroom was clean and usually available. Equipment in kitchen and cleanliness of them was also fine. But I think that there are some rules which are modifiable like "terrace will be closed after 22pm because of not disturbing neighbours" and "dont open the windows of rooms which are facing the road". But they are not very important if you will stay for short time.

Jun 27, 2019Esta bien comunicado por transporte. Tiene una terraza grande que está muy bien. El único problema es que solo hay un servicio y una ducha para todos por lo demás bien. Es de agradecer que pude usar la casa a excepción de la cama hasta las 9 de la noche que me fui. Así pude hacer lo que quise por Barcelona sin llevar maletas a cuestas. Gracias

Jun 27, 2019The location of this place was fabulous! Walking distance to a lot of things, bars, clubs, attractions, bus lines, subway line, etc. Not the sort of hostel in which you hang out with the other travels, it's more quiet and for keeping to yourself it seems. But it was a very nice place.

Jun 27, 2019Karla hat mich super in Empfang genommen. Hat mir alles gezeigt, wo ich was finde. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Ein kleiner Nachteil, es gibt für alle nur ein Badezimmer. Tip von mir, wer Frühaufsteher ist sollte morgens duschen gehen. :-) Das Hostel, ich nenne es mal so, liegt perfekt an der Metro, L3. Von da aus erreicht ihr alles. Ob mit der Metro oder zu Fuß. Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit bei Karla und würde immer wieder kommen. :-)

Jun 27, 2019This place is run like a hostel and is more expensive than any of the hostels if you can book your hostel stay early enough. Moreover the location is not the best and you need to take metro to get to the major attractions. I booked another Airbnb in Barcelona for a little more (10 euros per night) and had a room to myself. This place had a rank smell, was dusty and the kitchen and bathrooms had mould. There are in fact three rooms with bunk beds, and they add you to any of the beds randomly. I was asked to give two euros the next day for the towel when this wasn't informed when given a towel. The person who asked for the two euros started to swear when I politely told him I didn't have the exact change. I only had 1 euro and thirty cents, which he took, with an attitude after he stalked off swearing, before I checked out. The only good thing was that I could check in at 1am, like any other hostel. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Jul 27, 2019The flat is in a perfect spot. It could no be better. You have all activities and meetings close by, the metro and supermarkets. And it is still not so touristic. All is nice and I can recommend the flat. Breakfast was not included. There is only one bathroom for the guests. For the check it better call Karla two or one hour before arrival to make sure she is there. You will definitely enjoy your stay in Barcelona if you stay here, it will get hard to find a better and cheaper option.
Jun 27, 2019The place is generally pretty nice: good location being in walk proximity to many sightseeings, bus stop and metro station. The host Karla is also very responsive and helpful. The only thing that the hostel is situated very close to one of main city roads so noise from cars was heard until the midnight. Overall, I'd recommend it to young people who like active neighborhood.
Jun 27, 2019위치 좋음. 구글맵으로 찾아보니 20번지가 아니라 17번지라 30분장도 헤맸다. 한방에 5명 2개의 벙크침대와 1개의 싱글침대가 있고 큰 장롱에 자물쇠로 귀중품 보관가능. 콘센트2개밖에 없어서 눈치게임. 욕실은 다른방 사람들과 같이 써야함. 1개로는 부족하다고생각함.수건제공 안함(2유로) 아침식사 (온니 커피와 티) 호스트가 불친절함. 처음 도착해서 집안구조만 설명해주고 봐도 인사도 안하고 인사를 해도 띠꺼움 ㅡㅡ ㅋ 위치는 카사바트요와 카서밀라 도보로 10분, 카탈루냐 광장 도보로 20분.. 마트 도보 1분. 위치는 상당히 좋음.

Jun 27, 2019Es un edificio antiguo pero bonito, conservado, con elevador aunque no puedes tomarlo ya que solo se detiene en pisos pares, pero por estar en un primero piso no es tan pesado subir por las escaleras, las puertas de los cuartos son pesadas pero que mejor que ejecutar los brazos durante tu estancia. Un bonito lugar.

Jun 27, 2019Un lugar con cierto encanto. Armario con llave donde dejar las pertenencias. Una agradable terraza. Un baño para todos los huéspedes (el piso tendrá capacidad para unas 20 personas) se queda corto. Karla es encantadora.
Jun 27, 2019La relacion precio calidad es muy buena. Es un alojamiento muy practico, la ubicacion es excelente. La limpieza tambien. Tiene una cocina muy equipada y una terraza muy linda. Es una buena alternativa al hostel. Porque podes tener tranquilidad e intimidad y a la vez compartir momentos con otros viajeros.

The location was perfect with walking distances to practically everything The layout with the terrass and the common rooms was also very nice and made it extremely easy to meet new people - something that I value highly Karla, the host was also extremely quick and good at responding making everything a lot easier There are only two things I was a little dissapointed with First of all the fans were not nearly good enough to keep the room cool and so it was quite hard to fall asleep at times Also something that isnt mentioned online is that you will have to share a bathroom (toilet and shower) with around 10 people so if you all get up at the same time there will be a long queue All in all, I’d say its definitely worth a stay - Especially if you are travelling on your own and want to meet new people to explore the city with!
