Aloha and welcome to our listing. We have to warn you, our condo is unique. As you see in the photo's, there are few places where you can step out onto your living room lanai and run towards a near-deserted beach. This is a place where you relax and relish the peace of the waves softly lapping on the shore while you watch the whales and a phenomenal sunset. Our beach is part of Maui's turtle sanctuary; many of our guests have encounters, swimming or on a beach walk with Aikane, the quintessential Hawaiian green turtle. Take a dip in the pool or enjoy a scented bath in your own private Jacuzzi. Share a drink and have some pupu's; (small kine snack), and enjoy the 180 degree sunset every night from the comfort of your own lanai. After a day on the beach, our fully equipped kitchen is and ready for you to serve a fabulous al-fresco dinner under the stars, on your own, private lanai. Neighborhood Overview
The quiet apt is in walking distance of the beach-side shopping malls. There are restaurants that serve local food, as well as international cuisine; Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Indian, Thai, to name a few. Many visitor activities take place in Kihei and everywhere else on the island. Visitor information is available on the wall next to the managers office or check with the visitor activity center at Times Market a block away from the condoYou can arrange activities on the phone from the condo.
Notes
The apt is equipped with everything you may need. If you like a periodic cleaning during long stays, I will arrange that for you. If you have questions about our pool, BBQ or shuffle-board court, please ask our friendly managers Sue and John.
Transit
If you don't have a car, there are bus-stops all along South Kihei Road, within a few minute walking distance, that offer island-wide connections. There are car-rental company's in the vicinity, should you want to rent a car. Or you can use Uber and local taxi services if you prefer. You can also rent bicycles, motor cycles in the neighborhood. You name it, Maui's got it.
Access
Our ground-floor-unit opens up to the lawn that leads to the ocean. Here guest have access to the pool, BBQ and the shuffle-board court. Visitor information is available in the lobby of our building where our wonderful manager Sue, has her office. There is small library here as well if you like to read. We encourage our guests to leave a good read behind for the next reader. If you don't find what you like, our county library is just around the corner.

Rules
Our building is a non-smoking zone for adults only. Pets, unless they are service dogs, are not allowed. We ask our guests to please wash the sand of their bodies after going to the beach at our beautiful shower next to the barbecue. The house-rules are on display in the unit.

Jun 27, 2019Alice welcomed us into her home with ALOHA! We immediately felt ready to begin our vacation after hours of travel. We didn't stay at the condo much and mostly enjoyed the island. The location was perfect as a starting point to explore the island. We did visit after 5 tropical storms had hit in the previous 3 months so it was a little humid but no worries, the living room A/C was there to our rescue. Good tip: leave it on when your away to keep the condo cool otherwise it doesn't cool down the place when it's really hot. We slept on the pull outs (since the A/C is there) and plus who can beat the ocean sounds and view outside the living room?! We would gladly stay here again and we both think it was a steal! Oh, and the fruit Alice left us from her garden was tasty!

As nice as the description and photos are, it really doesn't provide just how nice it really is... very clean and comfortable.... all amenities you might want... fantastic host! Really, a little slice of paradise and a great find! The condo is well managed, has barbecues, beautiful grounds and pool and is so, so close to the beach. It's perfectly situated in Kihei, close to everything... and we cannot wait to come back!

Jun 27, 2019Right on the beach is 100% correct! This condo was just steps away from a lovely, west facing beach in Kehei. We got gorgeous sunsets every day we were there. The condo was great for my wife and myself, and Alice was a very accommodating host. We loved having the washer & dryer in the unit. Being able to go home with clean clothes was fabulous. We also very much enjoyed the location. Easy driving distance from many attractions, and close walking distance to groceries and many great restaurants. 100% recommended and we'd love to stay here if we return to Maui!

Jun 27, 2019Our hostess was there to greet us and provided many 'homey' items to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The description listed was very accurate and we enjoyed every bit of our stay there. We loved the location! It has wonderful access to the beach, we could sit from the lanai and see the water and the sunset, or just walk across the lawn and be right on the beach! There were many restaurants that we could walk to in a short time. Convenience in having a grocery store close by was a big help, too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we come back to Maui! Thank you, Alice Diane for provided a comfy place to stay on our dream vacation!
Jun 27, 2019Our trip to Maui was made so comfortable and enjoyable by Alice Diane and her perfect condo on the beach. The small complex is off the main road and has just a nicely groomed lawn between our patio and the ocean. Being able to walk out the back door with our coffee each morning for a stroll on the beach was soul food. Alice was available for any questions we had and very thoughtful. I would highly recommend this place and host to a friend.
Jun 27, 2019Alice met us at the door and took us on a tour of the facilities. She had water and wine and snacks all set up. Place was gorgeous and very accommodating and it was maybe a 10 second walk to the beach. We had activities planned, but we all agreed we would have been content to stay at the condo and just enjoy the beach. I look forward to going back.

Jun 27, 2019The perfect spot to explore Maui or just to spend long, slow days at the secluded beach just steps away from the condo. We enjoyed breakfast at the beach every morning, just brought our towels and sat down in the sand. What a way to start the day! The condo is really home away from home, it has everything you need - and more! Alice is so warm and welcoming and made our stay extra special with fruit from her garden, chilled champagne and Hawaiian chocolates. The place is not smack in the middle of the most luxurious resorts and golf courts which we really appreciated. Instead, visiting the local restaurants meant dining amongst both tourists and locals and getting a bit closer to "the real" Maui. The beach just in front of the house is beautiful and we loved swimming there and reading under the palm trees. It was also easy access to the rest of the island, like Road to Hana which we did one day. What a journey! Do it if you have the time, we really recommend it. The pool was closed during our stay due to retiling but we didn't miss it for a second.
Jun 27, 2019What is the point if you cannot use the patio, have to walk thru the parking lot to get to the beach and have workman in your view all day. Being awakened at 6:30am is not my idea of a vacation.
Jun 27, 2019Amazing location! Right on the beach is right! When you open the back door you can hear the ocean. The location is great for getting around the rest of the island so if you plan on traveling around Maui it's perfect. Grocery stores and food are within walking distance so it's easy to get what you need. The location on the island itself is perfect, it can rain all around you but where you are will be sunny and dry. Alice provides everything you need and to make it a more welcoming she left us a few welcome items; muffins, coffee, champagne, juice, that type of stuff. We are already planning another stay there!

The host is very friendly and our communication is flawless. All the little extras simply made our vacation even more enjoyable. We can feel the hospitality of our host in every detail in this home. Jun 27, 2019Alice was a great host, and we had a fabulous stay at her place. Her unit is actually right on the beach. That was the best part of the trip. We didn't have to do anything but walk out the back door and we were on the beach. Perfect way to relax. It is close to a grocery store, great coffee shop, and restaurants in Kihei/Wailea. Alice is definitely welcoming and accommodating as well. Highly recommend!
Jul 27, 2019Amazing place! Would stay here again. You can't go wrong. You are right on the beach, there is a beautiful gas grill on premises, and condo has washer/dryer. We even had sea turtles on the beach. And amazing sunsets.

Jun 27, 2019My husband and I spent a lovely week at Alice's condo. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the nice patio with views of the palm trees and ocean beyond- an absolutely lovely view and perfect for watching the sunset! Even though the patio opens up to a shared space, we found it still to be quite private and peaceful. The condo is walking distance to some delicious restaurants and allows easy access to the highway to visit the rest of the island. We found the condo to be very comfortable with all of the amenities we would need. There is a nice grill on site as well as a pool. We would definitely stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019This was everything Alice listed! The restaurants were great & we swam on our beach everyday it was literally steps away from the lanai. We also saw several turtles swimming & one 2 came up on the beach to sun themselves. We will definitely be back ❤

Jun 27, 2019The perfect spot to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Alice's condo is very clean and well furnished, including a well equipped kitchen. Alice also provides everything you'll need for the beach - umbrella, chairs, towels and beach toys. The location is perfect and only a short drive to the best swimming and snorkeling beach where turtles are plentiful. It's also located within easy walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores and a great gelato store. There is a beach right outside the back door for lounging and watching the sunset and a great little pool within feet of the door. The perfect spot for the perfect vacation! Thanks Alice!!

Many of the condos in Kihei require you to cross a busy street to get to the beach, but this place is right on a beautiful beach with gorgeous views of the sunset over the West Maui mountains. Alice Diane is a great host, leaving snacks for us when we checked in and the use of a cooler and beach toys. The location is convenient for exploring other parts of Maui as well. We would definitely want to stay at this property again.
Jun 27, 2019We thought it would be great and it exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for walking to so many restaurants, shops and grocery stores. We watched the sunset everyday and went in the pool and met the other people visiting and who lived there. The beach in front of the condo was lovely to walk on daily and swim at in the morning. Alice was such a joy during the check in and check out process. She left us chocolates, chips and waters and use of what she already had. She also supplies pool toys, beach umbrellas and beach chairs which was great and so nice because we didn't have to go buy them or rent them ourselves! The wifi and AC were lovely additions to have. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. This is the spot to be in Kihei!

Jun 27, 2019Alice is such a sweetheart and goes out of her way to ensure you have a comfortable stay! Everything is well organized, and she leaves complimentary beach toys, food, and drinks. The location is great for easy access to the rest of the island, and while the beach is small and a little rough, it is still beautiful and literally RIGHT THERE. We plan to stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019The location couldn't get any better. You are within walking distance of food shopping, local crafts, restaurants and of course, you're right on the beach. Nothing compares to waking up to the sound of the waves crashing. The condo has everything you need to feel at home and most importantly Alice is an amazing host. From snacks, fruit and beautiful smelling flowers to giving you all the information you need to enjoy your stay, she was amazing. My husband and I are already trying to plan out our next visit. Staying here is a great way to experience the beauty of Maui because you can go walk or swim on the beach anytime that you want. Jun 27, 2019It is literally steps from the beach!! This is no joke, from the back lanai it took 1 minute over the dune to the beach itself and the unexpected part was that the beach was also really private. we would see maximally four groups of people there at a time. Sometimes we would be the only ones out there. This was partly due to the 70's weather but still! Also the restaurants in Kihei are right there, as Alice says. The only thing I would mention is that the unit is older so it's not "hotel" newness and one shouldn't expect it. I didn't expect it. We ended up sleeping on the pullout foam mattress to compensate for the older soft bed, but we didn't mind this. Alice was very responsive with the two issues that came up in our trip and that was really nice.

Jun 27, 2019We had such an amazing stay! You know you are staying in the right place when the family is able to unplug the entire time and not turn on the T.V. The beachfront is truly just outside the back door. We were able to relax as the complex was small and quiet. The location was great... not far from the airport, lots of different beach parks close by and just around the corner from great places to eat! You really don't need a car as restaurants and groceries are all within walking distance! We hope to return again in the not so distant future!

Jun 27, 2019Our stay with Alice was quite perfect. She left us fruit to enjoy when we arrived, a bottle of champagne chilled in the refrigerator as well as cold juice. We enjoyed the complimentary beach chairs, umbrella & boogie board. The patio, literally on the beach was amazing. We loved how close we were to so many fantastic restaurants and a centrally located on the island to a lot of things we wanted to do. I would definitely recommend this condo if you want to be close to the beach, and experience some food and activity in Kihei or Wailea.
Jun 27, 2019My wife and I had a fantastic stay here and Alice was the perfect host! Our flight was delayed getting into Maui and most the restaurants were closed but Alice went out and provided us some groceries and snacks for a late dinner on top of the spread she already had laid out. That touch meant the world to us. The condo was cozy and met our needs perfectly. ‘Right on the beach’ is right... we were just steps away from an amazing Hawaiian beach that felt almost private with little foot traffic. The surf was a little rocky but the water was crystal clear and situated nicely for a beautiful sunset. This place was located centrally to anything you would need. We were within walking distance to the Times supermarket and the Azeka shopping center which has a lot of great restaurants and just minutes down the road was the Kalama Village which also had a lot of shops and eateries. Our stay was amazing and we will definitely use this place again if/when we return to Maui. Mahalo & aloha!

Jun 27, 2019If you are planning a trip to Maui and looking to be in a prime location on the beach with amazing restaurants, grocery stores and shops within walking distance - look no further. Alice’s condo was clean, cozy, and had everything my family of 3 needed to enjoy our vacation. The beach, which is literally a few feet away from the condo, is in a secluded stretch of the Kihei coast and provides the luxury of avoiding crowds at other Kihei beaches. There are spectacular views of the sunset that can be experienced from the beach or while relaxing on the lanai (back patio). Alice was very professional and responsive. In addition to welcoming us with the aloha spirit, she stocked the condo with treats, snacks, and drinks. We would definitely stay here again!

We were still lucky enough to experience our own private beach, morning sunrise, and gorgeous evening sunsets. Jun 27, 2019This was exactly what we were looking for, when they say "on the beach" they mean "on the beach!" Amazing sunsets you can see from the living room, walk out the patio door 50 feet and you're on the beach. A sandy beach with calm surf and few other visitors. Neighbors were quiet and the hosts left thoughtful gifts (fruit, drinks, etc). Walking distance to supermarkets and many great restaurants.
Jun 27, 2019MAGNIFICENT! THE BEST BEACH IN TOWN! My husband and I loved Alice's apartment. You cannot beat the location and the beach is in your backyard. There were beautiful sunsets and it is as if you have your own private beach. There were very few people. We went for our honeymoon and would recommend this apartment to everyone! If I go back to Maui, I am definitely staying there. It is central and easy to get to other towns as well. Kihei is great if you prefer a relaxing beach atmosphere. You can also walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and a supermarket! Surfing is more on the north shore. Thank you again Alice! We LOVED staying at your place! Til next time!
