No shoes worn inside the condo (Hawaiian Custom) In the event there is Excessive use or Damage to the Condo, your security deposit WILL BE RETAINED. Bed linens & towels will be washed by our housekeeper. Please just throw out any trash or open food items. Great efforts are made to be sure the condo is in excellent condition for your stay. In the event an unforeseen item need to be repaired or replaced CALL US. We are onsite and ready to assist to ensure your stay is most enjoyable. Thank you!

Jeff and Shana were very easy to get in touch with, even though we landed late it was extremely easy to get into the condo. The condo was perfect for us, the master bedroom looks out over the ocean and you can actually hear the waves crash- makes for the best sleep! Princeville where the condo is located is a lovely community in Kuai.
Jun 27, 2019The best part of this listing is the view from the master bed. You get to have an unobstructed view of the ocean every morning when you wake up! Although this is a condo in a neighborhood full of condos, the views from the balcony and bedroom are amazing. Great location. Loved the north shore. Everything we needed was provided, even beach gear such as boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, etc.
Jun 27, 2019Best AirBnB experience ever!! The condo is perfect, really comfortable and clean, beautifully decorated. The view is amazing, the sound of the waves had us sleeping so well every night. There's an abundance of beach and bath towels, which really came in handy. Also, there's boogie boards, coolers, and beach chairs to use. It's really close to the town of Hanalei, where we spent most of our time. We loved every moment of our stay, it was so relaxing. We did buy two more fans, which we left at the condo, just to help with a little more air flow, but it doesn't get very hot at night really. We hope the next guests enjoy them! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you again Jeff and Shana for everything!
Jun 27, 2019What a view! You can just sit in the lanai all day to soak it in. Jeff and Shana went out of the way to make it a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed everything this home and Kauai had to offer.
Jun 27, 2019Our family was very pleased with the condo. Great view, right over the surf! We felt quite comfortable with everything - the photos don't do justice to the size of the unit. It is much more spacious than we expected. Lots of beach chairs, boards, toys and carry bags! We simply put our clothes away started playing and relaxing. Thank you Jeff & Shana - good job.
Jun 27, 2019We had the most wonderful experience in this beautiful condo. Beautifully furnished and so comfortable with everything we needed. We will never forget the world's most beautiful views from the patio. Just a short drive away is the special town of Hanalei with great restaurants and beautiful beaches. A shopping center with groceries and cafes is just a mile away at Princeville Center. We loved the condo! We were so sad to leave and are already planning to return.
Jun 27, 2019We had a great time in the condo, it was well equipped for everything we needed and the location is really good for exploring the north shore. The views are fantastic and everything is generally great. The beach stuff was really useful, renting or buying chairs etc. for a week is always so wasteful. Some small things could do with some maintenance, like many of the window blinds don't work but that wasn't a real issue!
Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful trip at this rental! Large living room, fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, a balcony, and of course the ocean view & sounds. Couldn't have asked for much more! Check-in was extremely easy (just involved punching the code into the door and turning the handle :-). We had no contact with Jeff & Shana during our stay--but only because we had no issues! However they were there for us if we needed them and provided very helpful info prior to our check-in to make sure we had all the right info. Princeville itself is basically a collection of resorts surrounded by a golf course, so really not walking distance to many bars/shops, but you can take a nice stroll around the course and down to a beach if you're ambitious. There is a shopping center at the end of the road and the quaint, laid-back hamlet of Hanalei is a short drive away, so you're not really isolated, just know that you'll need a car if you stay here. We enjoyed drinks at nearby Tiki Iniki bar, dinner at Postcards cafe, and of course you'll find yourself at Hanalei Coffee & Bread company more than a few times if you stay here as it's practically the only coffeehouse in town :-). But good cappucino's and fresh bread on a tropical island - which is better than we were expecting! Jeff & Shana ~ thank you for making sure we had a memorable & comfortable stay!
Jun 27, 2019Jeff & Shana's place was BEAUTIFUL! The ocean views are wonderful and everything in the house was clean. The instructions sent to us answered any questions we could have had and were helpful when (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps tried to navigate us to the wrong location. A huge bonus was all of the equipment in the house to use (beach, grilling, kitchen, etc). Check-in and check-out was a breeze and we highly recommend booking this place if available.
Jun 27, 2019This place is absolutely perfect and I'm so glad we booked it for our stay in Kauai! The location is great in Princeville and close to a shopping center for groceries as well as a short drive to some beautiful beaches. The place itself was perfect for two couples and had everything we needed to make all of our meals (blender, pots, pants, dishes, microwave, coffee maker). You'll just want to note that the kitchen doesn't have basics for cooking like oil, spices, etc. so definitely purchase some of those if you plan on cooking meals. Other than that, I don't think we could have asked for a better stay. Enjoying our coffee on the balcony every morning was truly wonderful.
Jun 27, 2019Great communications and lots of useful information provided prior to our trip. The apartment presents exactly as it looks in the photos. The kitchen was well stocked and there was even beach chairs and some snorkel gear which we really appreciated the use of. For us the location was perfect and we absolutely loved sitting out on the balcony and enjoying the stunning view with a wine in hand!
Jun 27, 2019We had a great experience with our stay in Princeville. The condo is exactly as described. From both the main bedroom and guest room, you have a beautiful view of the ocean. You are no more than a five minute drive to Queens Bath or a 15-20 minute walk. If you are going to drive, get there early. The earlier the better to avoid the large afternoon crowds. You are a 5 minute drive to the beautiful St. Regis Hotel and a 10 minute drive to the great down of Hanalei. The condo is clean and very convenient to many Kauai destinations. I would definitely recommend a stay at this Kauai location.
Jun 27, 2019Kauai is absolutely stunning and Ocean Bluff Retreat was a good home base to experience it all. We were able to see most of the island, and by far, Hanalei Bay was our favorite beach area. It's really a magical place. Being a short drive away was very fun. Princeville is a great place to find condos like the Ocean Bluff Retreat, but as it is structurally very residential, we did miss being able to walk out directly onto a beach. It only took a day or so to get over that though, as there are so many stunning beaches just a short drive away. Jeff and Shana truly care about their guests. The only issue we ran into was that one grill area did not work and one was out of gas, but there were directions on who to call to have it addressed. Our favorite part of the condo was the Lanai. The greenery and the ocean views are spectacular, and we really enjoyed having our coffee out there every morning.
Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful time at the condo. Great location and truly amazing views- all we saw was ocean from the master bed. Very comfortable beds, and everything we needed at the condo. We had most meals at home. Also very clean. The nice (vey large) pool was a bonus and the kids loved it. We had it pretty much to ourselves even though we stayed there in the busy summer season. We definitely recommend to others. Thanks Jeff and Shana!

Jun 27, 2019Our family of three had a wonderful time in Princeville, thanks in large part to this condo. It comes equipped with all that you need - from a well-stocked kitchen to beach toys and chairs. The views are also breathtaking! The only "downside" to the stay was the heat factor as the condo does not have A/C. (But then again, we willingly traveled in July!) That said, the ceiling fans in every room and portable fans in the bedrooms certainly help make a difference. All in all, it's was a memorable and wonderful stay! We would definitely come back.
Jun 27, 2019This home is wonderfully located in the town of Princeville Kauai. The condo had a spectacular view of the pacific ocean!!! It was very clean and had everything a family would need for a comfortable stay. Very close to beautiful beaches and other attractions!!!

Jun 27, 2019This is a second floor condo with bedrooms and Lanai that offer incredible views of the ocean. The sounds of the surf will lull you to sleep and chirping birds will wake you in the morning. Everything you could possible need was in the unit, so no stress about needing something. If you really need to watch TV, basic cable is furnished (along with local music CD's and loads of books). Comfortably furnished, clean, quiet. 5 minutes to shopping and 10 minutes to nightlife and restaurants. If you are going to stay on the North Shore, this is a great place to be!
Jun 27, 2019Great place with awesome sights and sounds. We loved the view out of the master bedroom and listening to the waves as we fell asleep at night. Princeville area was great, close to cool places like Queen's bath and good shops/restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019We absolutely loved our stay here on Kauai! This place was perfect for us located in Princeville, close to Hanalei and the Napali coast hiking. The views from the bedroom are absolutely as advertised - we woke up to the sound of waves every morning. The bathrooms and kitchen have obviously been recently re-modeled and the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc for cooking. The grounds are beautiful and quiet, and the pool is a great bonus! Our interactions with Jeff and Shana were limited, but they were very nice and even mailed something we forgot after we left.
Jun 27, 2019Perfect location in Princeville overlooking the ocean. Clean, well equipped kitchen. Long walk to the beach, but worth it. Short treacherous hike down the cliff to a cave with turtles. Very nice condo that we would definitely like to stay in again.

Jun 27, 2019My friends and I had a very pleasant stay at Jeff & Shana’s place. Check in was super easy (door code), and the place was nice and cozy :) the balcony view was to die for!!!! Also, waking up to the sound of the ocean was so beautiful. The location worked great for the activities we had planned for the week. I def recommend having a car rental if staying in the north shore. One thing to note: the place does not have AC but during our May travel -temperatures weren’t hot at night. There are fans in every room so that helped. I also appreciated that the place came with a good amount of towels. I would def stay here again.
Jun 27, 2019We did not go all the way to Kauai to spend all the time in a condo but it was nice to have coffee or drinks on the patio overlooking the Pacific. The description is very accurate. Everything is clean and functional and there was sufficient space for a family of 4 to sleep, cook a meal and relax
Jun 27, 2019Graf place , loved the kitchen !! Like at home fully accessed! Knife really cuts ! They also have ice packs so we were able to take our cooler bag with us! The sound of the ocean is amazing In overall is a great place if you want nice quiet place !
Jun 27, 2019Our requirements for a Princeville condo were; spectacular ocean view, clean and updated accommodations and outdoor space. Jeff and Shana's place easily met all of our requirements. The view is splendid, the interior space is warm and relaxing and the outdoor spaces were beautiful. We really enjoyed the pool area which seemed to be only used by us. There were zero problems or complaints with the unit.

Jul 27, 2019Hard to go wrong here, the place is gorgeous! Much more spacious than we envisioned. Check-in was great and Shana was very responsive to our communications. Great location near lots of places that tourists would want to go. Magnificent views throughout, and a roaring ocean to lull you to sleep every night. The hosts provided some great information about the local area. Our only gripe -- and it is a small one even though the paragraph is long -- was that we thought the cleaning fee was excessive (about 13% of the cost of the rental) considering we were still asked to put all the dishes in the dishwasher and run it, gather together all the trash and take it outside, and clean out the refrigerator before we left. Happy to do those things, but we collectively felt like we shouldn't have to pay a cleaning staff $135 when we are doing all those things for them. As far as the place and the hosts go, however, completely top shelf. A wonderful experience and we'd be happy to be back.

Jun 27, 2019The view from this condo is amazing, slept with the waves crashing on the rocks! Location is very convenient to shops, view, trails. Condo is a little dated with small bathrooms but it is clean, fully equipped kitchen and location is great. Kauai was our favorite island and north shore is spectacular. Free tennis access was nice.
Jun 27, 2019Homely apartment with nice view of ocean from balcony in living room and through windows in both master and second bedroom. Very close to Hanalei and Anini beaches which are fantastic. 1.2 miles from the hideaway beach. Nice neighbor hood to jog. Quiet. The neighborhood is close to foodland and good number of restaurants which is very convenient. Most activities like sailing tours , zip lines and choices of helicopter tours are at Lihue which is about a 45 minute drive which is a gorgeous drive. But keep this in mind if hiking activities and sailing are your preferences. Overall a great experience
