Choice of two guest lounge/sitting room areas, one upstairs and one downstairs. Tea/coffee making facilities. Garden area with several seats/tables in the tropical rear garden overlooking Pittwater. Off street parking The rooms are individual and private. There is a common lounge room with 50" flat screen TV downstairs and another small guest sitting room, with 32" flat screen upstairs. Most guests seem to prefer the interaction with other guests having breakfast in the common breakfast room downstairs but you can take it upstairs to your room/bal
Neighborhood Overview
Palm Beach is a very unique area. It is well known that 80% of the homes are Holiday homes with only 20 % residents. For all but a few periods i.e. Xmas holidays and long weekends it is unbelieveaby peaceful and quiet. The nearest shopping village is Avalon Beach, just 5 1/2 kms or 8 mins back along Barrenjoey Rd. In Avalon you will find Banks, Woolworths, Service Stations, Cafes and Restaurants and the normal sorts of shops you would find in a small village.

We respect your rights to smoke but ask that you respect our right to have a NO SMOKING premises. Please limit smoking to balconies or outside and please remember to keep the balcony door closed as wind draught can waft smoke right through the house.

Rules
This is a "traditional style" Bed & Breakfast so there might be four lots of guests. Please be respectful to all other guests as you would expect them to be respectful of you. Especially where there are several rooms of guests that are friends it is tempting to get together and "party on" which can be very disturbing to the others.

Jun 27, 2019I can't even begin to tell you how brilliant my stay was. Rudi and Avalon were a total dream. From start to finish they were both so attentive and helpful. The house is charming and full of character and it was amazing to hear all of Rudis stories. Feeding the birds in the morning was such a memorable experience!!! I would recommend the b&B to everyone! Palm beach is the perfect place to relax and Rudis place was the perfect place to stay. I will be back one day!!! you've reminded me how good staying in a proper b&B can be! Thank you
Jun 27, 2019Simply put, Rudi's place is fantastic. A secluded hide-away a few minutes walk from the beach or the bay. Rudi is very warm, relaxed and attentive - and even gave us a lift to a nearby wedding. A shame we had to leave so soon! Highly recommended.
Jun 27, 2019Staying at Rudi's was the perfect tonic to a hot a busy stay in the city. The B&B is easily accessible from Sydney - one bus ride all the way. My room was clean and comfortable with balcony views to the Pitt Water which turned into theatre for the local birds to perform on in the morning! Rudi was a great host - giving the lowdown on facilities and local amenities whilst letting me explore the area on my own. Sharing breakfast with two Kookaburra will not be forgotten!! One tip - for a couple of days from the city I would say a car is unnecessary - the bus takes a while but is frequent and direct, but it is DEFINITELY worth arranging a pick-up with Rudi if possible as the walk up to the B&B was a bit of a struggle with a large amount of luggage!

Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful stay at Rudi's beautiful B&B and only wished we could have stayed longer. He was a lovely host and extremely hospitable and we couldn't have asked for a better more relaxing room. We look forward to returning soon.

Jun 27, 2019We were in Palm beach for a wedding and had an absolutely amazing time at Rudi and Avalon's b&b. The place is situated in the most beautiful area and Rudi and Avalon are very lovely and friendly people, they made us feel very welcome and were simply incredible hosts. The room itself was clean with a comfy bed and a really cute balcony with a lovely sea view. Thanks for such a great stay!
