The neighborhood is very cool so you can be in the center while enjoying a peaceful night sleep as it’s facing the nice backyard of the building. A sunny and bright place to enjoy the best of the city. Parking has a special price of its 12,50Eur per 24H. One of the charming areas of this groovy city. The oldest city market Bolhão and metro station is 4 minutes walking distance. The main theaters are there too. Its the downtown area with lots of cool restaurants, shops, commercial area, nightlife is 5 minute walking distance, everything in a short walking distance.

Jun 27, 2019Hola, la atención de João fue exquisita, estuvo muy atento a la llegada y en todo momento durante nuestra estancia. El apartamento, en un lugar ideal para visitar Oporto a pie, sin necesidad de coger transporte público para casi nada. Esta prácticamente nuevo, con poco uso, y muy bien cuidado. Solo un pero, yo fui en coche, y no paso ni una hora sin que me me rompieran uno de los cristales para robarme. Os recomiendo el guardarlo en parking, que además de más seguros son muy baratos para este tipo de estancias. Vimos varios cristales rotos por el mismo motivo en la zona.
Jun 27, 2019We took a 10 minute stroll from São Bento train station to João’s flat. The town house was carefully restored and looked even better than it is presented in the pictures. The bed are really good and big. Great stylish and well appointed apartment in a fantastic location near the action but in a nice quiet zone. Loved it! João was extremely nice. The communication during that time was very fast and friendly. We had a fantastic time in Porto. We will definitely be back!
Jun 27, 2019This is a perfect apartment to stay in for a visit to Porto. From the airport it is a short ride on the metro with the nearest stop being five minutes from the apartment. João was an excellent host, meeting us at the apartment and staying for a short while to point out a few places on a map that we should visit. The apartment is very modern and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen for making breakfast or simple meals. We stayed for a week and honestly felt as comfortable as at home. The beds are large and firm and there are additional blankets provided if you need them. There is a good sized supermarket located one street away next to the Coleseu auditorium. The apartment is very well located being within easy walking distance of a number of bars, restaurants and many of Porto's attractions. I would recommend staying here if you want a good base to explore the city and have the freedom to live like you are at home. Very, very nice.

Jun 27, 2019No geral a experiência foi bastante agradável. Fomos bem recebidos pelo irmão do anfitrião que nos mostrou a casa em detalhe. Mesmo não tendo estado presente, o anfitrião enviou sms quando foi necessário. Único ponto menos positivo foi o estacionamento que não é muito fácil na zona, muito central, a não ser que seja pago.

The location is next to shopping street Rua Santa Catarina. A big supermarket is around the corner. To the Cais da Ribeira is a small walk. We would come back.

And of course Joao himself, who was very welcoming and full of excellent recommendations about what to do and where to go. Jun 27, 2019A great long weekend in Porto! The loft is exactly as presented in the description. It is well equipped for all your needs. We didn't have the chance to use the balcony for breakfast, since we always had it at a Cafe, but it is very nice to chill out there. João has welcomed us very warmly and he provided us many wise tips about restaurants and nice places to visit. The location is just perfect. Quiet (despite what I had read on some reviews) and basically right in the city center. We suggest you to try Confeitaria do Bolhao, just a few meters away. Having breakfast there gets you in the perfect Portuguese atmosphere. If you happen to be in Porto on a Saturday, it is worth visiting the Bolhao market, just in front of the Confeitaria. Last but not least, you have to try the heavenly juice named after this city: Porto wine. On the south side of the river you'll find plenty of historical cellars that you can visit and get a wine tasting at the end of the tour. We recommend Ferreira, the only 100% Portuguese one that has been left totally original. On the other end, you can also enjoy a relaxing time having a Porto Bliss (my new favorite cocktail) on the Sandman terrace with a view on the river.

Jun 27, 2019I really loved the Joao's loft. It is exactly like the pictures and it is fully equipped. The location is perfect: in the middle of Porto but a quite neighborhood. Miguel (Joao's brother) was at the place when we arrived. He gave us really useful information about Porto. Would definitely recommend this place!

Dejamos aparcado nuestro coche en un parking de la misma manzana por 8€/24 horas. Joao fue muy amable en todo momento. Sin duda lo recomiendo para tu estancia en oporto

Joao's brother Miguel welcomed us and gave us lots of information. The restaurant that was recommended, Traça, was out of this world and I whole-heardlty recommend it. I would definitely stay again. Furthermore, he gave loads of information on where to go in Porto which was very helpful. Now and again, he asked if everything is okay or if we needed further information, towels, ... We really enjoyed our stay in Porto!!! ... and the bed ist huge: very important for people with 1,90m height :)

We met up with the brother of Joao and he was very friendly and even gave us tips for things to do in Porto. If I ever come back to Porto, I won't hesitate to choose this place again.

Jun 27, 2019We loved our stay!!! The apartment is really cosy, clean and it has everything you need for a short or longer stay. The neighborhood was quiet and it's close to many restaurants, bars, supermarket, everything in walking distance. The communication with the host was amazing, João answered really fast and and gave us great restaurant recommendations. Near to Bolhao metro/subway station. We stayed for 19 days and we'll certainly come back!

Existe um estacionamento 24h para o carro logo ao virar da esquina, literalmente. Os anfitriões (João e Miguel) são 5 estrelas. He was very helpful and gave us some excellent tips. Keep in mind that it can be noisy sometimes of fellow guests in the apartment building (above) Nonetheless is this a excellent starting point for discovering Porto.

Jun 27, 2019O apartamento tem uma localização excelente, estando muito próximo da Rua Santa Catarina e do Bolhão (onde também há uma estação do metrô). É perfeitamente possível andar a pé para todos os lados; apenas utilizei o metrô uma vez para ir até Vila Nova de Gaia (onde ficam as caves do vinho do porto). Numa rua próxima há dois supermercados e, não muito longe, há uma tasca chamada Casa Guedes, com um sanduíche de pernil maravilhoso. João ficou sempre disponível para dar dicas e tirar dúvidas. Apartamento altamente recomendado! Ah, por fim, foi ótima a estadia para nós três -- o sofá-cama é uma cama de verdade, super confortável. A cama de casal também era muito boa. O apartamento fica um andar acima e é de fundos, sendo perfeito para idosos, também.

Jun 27, 2019Bellissimo appartamento in zona centrale completo in tutto e molto ben arredato con componenti nuovissime, comodissimo alla metro Bolhao, a pochi passi da Rua Santa Caterina, zona pedonale con molti negozi. È la soluzione ideale sia come appartamento per lavoro che per un soggiorno con la famiglia, alľ arrivo ci ha accolti Miguel che dopo averci fatto vedere la casa ci ha dato parecchi consigli su come e dove muoverci per la città. Jun 27, 2019Super séjour de 5 nuits dans l'appartement de Joao et Miguel. Nous avions prévenu Miguel que notre avion aurait un retard d'une heure mais il n'y a pas eut de souci pour nous accueillir. Miguel était très sympathique et a pris le temps de nous indiquer les principaux points d'intérêts de la ville. L'appartement est superbe, refait à neuf et conforme aux photos. Les lits sont très confortables et il y a beaucoup de rangement. L'appartement ne donne pas sur la rue et est donc très au calme. L'emplacement est également parfait, très central, avec un supermarché juste à côté et de nombreux restaurants. Nous recommandons vivement pour un prochain séjour à Porto !!

Jun 27, 2019Ich bin mit zwei Freundinnen im Alter von 18 Jahren nach Porto gereist und wir haben in dem Appartement gewohnt. Ganz abgesehen davon, dass Porto eine wunderbare Stadt ist, haben wir den Aufenthalt in der Wohnung sehr genossen. Miguel hat auf uns in der Wohnung gewartet und uns empfangen. (Die Wohnung ist leicht mit der Metro vom Flughafen aus zu erreichen.) Er hat uns die ganze Wohnung ganz genau gezeigt und alles wichtige erklärt. Die Wohnung sieht genauso aus wie auf den Fotos! Alles war sauber und schön eingerichtet. Daraufhin hat uns Miguel noch zusätzlich auf einer Stadtkarte, die wir am Flughafen erhielten, Sehenswertes in Porto gezeigt und uns einige Restaurants empfohlen. Er nahm sich Zeit für uns und beantwortete alle unsere Fragen. Miguel war sehr freundlich. Die restliche Woche standen wir nur über airbnb in Kontakt. Die Wohnung ist sehr zu empfehlen! Sie ist sehr gut mit Küchenutensilien und allem Nötigem ausgestattet. Jedoch würden wir die Wohnung nicht für mehr als 3 Personen empfehlen, da sie klein ist und nur ein Bad hat. Für uns drei hat der Platz aber deutlich ausgereicht.
Jun 27, 2019The loft in Porto was amazing. Very modern, had everything we needed and we felt very relaxed. It was easy to find from the metro, a direct line from the airport. It was close to so main shopping streets and sights, and a 25min metro ride to the beach. An excellent, central location. We really appreciated Miguel taking the time to point out key sights on a map and let us in on some local knowledge regarding top locations to eat and where the night life was. He pointed out handy places such as the closest supermarket as well. Small touches that really made our stay wonderful. We would highly recommend the loft to anyone, especially those staying for a few days in Porto.

Jun 27, 2019I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Porto in the future. It's pretty central, steps away from a metro station. A short 15-20 minute walk will bring you to the river's edge where you have great views of the Bridge and Vila Nova de Gaia. The place is well kept with a great kitchen fully stocked. There's a grocery store just around the corner. It was nice to have a washing machine as well. The neighborhood is quiet so you get a good night's rest. Joao & Miguel we're very quick to answer any questions we had. Porto is a lovely city!

I could have stayed forever. Porto is now my favourite city in the world and Miguel and Joao play a huge part in my love for it. Also special thanks to their lovely cousin who gave us the most amazing tips of where to go - we took as many as we could during our week-long stay which made us feel like we got to experience the secret and local Porto. Jun 27, 2019Très bel apaprtement . Tres bien situé . Super contact et disponibilité car nous sommes arrivés avant l'heure prévue. Voyage avec mes enfants de 12 et 17 ans. Ils ont adoré. Je recommande vraiment car proche de tout à pied et logement calme . Tout est nickel.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is in a great location, just minutes away from a metro station, and in the middle of hustle and bustle. However when you're in the apartment it's so quiet inside you wouldn't know you're a very short walk away from bars, shops and restaurants. The apartment was absolutely immaculate, and had everything you need in there! It's very spacious, light and comfortable. It's the perfect base to explore Porto and if I were to return I'd certainly be requesting this apartment again.

Jun 27, 2019This apartment is clean, bright, spacious and in an excellent location. The bed was comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped and we really appreciated the washing machine. There were lots of little thoughtful touches e.g. coffee beans, some basic pantry staples, laundry detergent, bluetooth speaker. The communication with the hosts was very prompt and helpful. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise from the other apartments in the flat during our time there, particularly directly above us, at all hours of the day. We felt we could hear every footstep upstairs! I don't expect that the hosts can do much about this. Overall, the apartment in itself was good.
Jun 27, 2019Miguel was extremely helpful in answering all our questions and giving advises. Communication before check in and during the stay couldn't be easier. Check in was a breeze and the place is very nice just as pictures. The location is right in the heart of Porto but also very surprisingly quiet at night. I love the fact that we can use the washer as our trip is long. I'm very very picky so I couldn't help to notice the mold growing in the corner of the shower but other than that the place is spotless clean and has everything we need to the maximum comfort. Thank you Miguel for such a wonderful experience in Porto.

Communication et gestion efficace avant l'arrivée. Un accueil sympathique mais bref de Joana qui nous a prodigué des conseils de visite de Porto et ses environs. Seuls petits bémols sur le séjour : les bruits au milieu de la nuit venant du dessus la dernière nuit et quelques remontées d'odeurs dans la salle de bains. Rien cependant qui n'est empêché de passer un très bon séjour.

Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und hat alles was wir brauchten. Top Lage. Niedliche Aussicht. Porto, wir kommen wieder. Du und deine lieben, freundlichen und aufgeschlossenen Menschen, ihr werdet uns fehlen. Diese Entspanntheit und das Miteinander wünsche ich mir sehr in Deutschland. OBRIGADO

Jun 27, 2019Zeer goed verblijf en super goed gelegen. Hartelijke ontvangst . We kregen vele leuke tips. Het verblijf is zoals het wordt voorgesteld op de site. Goed uitgeruste keuken. Enig minpunt : slechte isolatie tussen de verdiepingen: lawaai van de bovenburen. Wel geen lawaai van buiten op straat. Prima adresje voor 4 personen.

Jun 27, 2019A hospedagem no apartamento foi ótima!Quando chegamos a Joana ja estava a nossa espera e foi super solicita. Tem só um andar para subir de escadas. O apartamento é silencioso e super bem localizado, fizemos tudo a pé! Tinha todos os utensílios que você precisa para cozinhar, passamos o natal e foi ótimo!! Como fomos no inverno, achamos que os aquecedores portáteis ñ foram tão eficiente, colocaria mais! Mas em outras estações do ano isso não seria uma preocupação!! Tivemos uma pequena dificuldade para usar a máquina de lavar roupa, seria ótimo se tivesse um manual de instruções. Super recomendo a hospedagem no apartamento!!'

Jun 27, 2019Un très agréable logement très bien situé en plein centre ville et au cœur de toutes les commodités métro supérette et magasins restaurants... toutes les visites se font à pied ou en tramway ou métro c’est comme on veut (stations proches) Le loft est très propre, clair et au calme grâce à sa petite cour centrale. L’équipement et les mobiliers sont neuf et très bien agencé ! Et pour finir l’accueil a été fait très chaleureusement avec pleins de conseils stratégiques sur les lieux à ne pas manquer Ce logement et nos hôtes ont répondus à toutes nos attentes Merci !
Jun 27, 2019Deze accommodatie was helemaal naar onze zin. Mooi, ruime appartement voorzien met alle gemakken op een goede locatie in het centrum. Comfortabel bed, goede douche. Miguel was zeer vriendelijk, hij heeft ons goed uitleg gegeven over de bezienswaardigheden van Porto.
Jun 27, 2019El departamento es espectacular!!!!!!! Es mucho mas que solamente cómodo, esta llena de detalles lindos y funcionales. Es super limpio y la cama es grande y cómoda. Tiene un hermoso living y la cocina esta muy bien equipada. Miguel es muy servicial y nos dio todas las recomendaciones necesarias para conocer Oporto. Más que agradecidos!!!!!

Jun 27, 2019Apartment is nice and very good equiped. The locstion is perfect and close to everything. The only thing is that it has thin walls and you can hear every step in apartment above. So if you are not lucky it can by bit noisy. But you can absolutely hear no noise from street at all.
Jun 27, 2019Ottimo appartamento, molto spazioso e confortevole. Ha tutto il necessario anche per la lavatrice e lavastoviglie, unico problema sono i vicini molto rumorosi. L’appartamento è centralissimo e dietro l’angolo c’è anche un garage che costa solo 9€ al giorno. Miguel è un host eccezionale e molto disponibile!
Jun 27, 2019Miguel's been a great host. He reacted quickly to news, gave us some tips for the city of Porto and tried to make everything fit. The appartment is very centrally located and well equipped for a city trip. A large kitchen is also available, bit this is not needed due the good localities and great prices. When I get back to Porto, I'll book Miguel's place again.
Jun 27, 2019We zijn erg warm ontvangen door een van de eigenaren. We kregen een heleboel tips over Porto, erg erg handig! Zeker de moeite waard om de tips te volgen. Het appartement had alle nodige voorzieningen en meer! Erg centraal gelegen, middenin het centrum van Porto waardoor het makkelijk is om overal te voet naartoe te gaan. Verder was het appartement koel, ideaal voor warme zomermaanden. Tip voor mensen die van koffie houden: tegenover zit een hele goede koffiezaak, Alambique, ze hebben ook to go. Heerlijk!

Great checkin experience as well, Miguel was very nice and gave us tips to make the most of the city on our arrival. He also took the time to come back later to provide some beach towels, as we read the flat would have some on the description, which highlight a unique service standard!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les conseils (restaurants, etc.) donnés à notre arrivée. L’appartement, très propre, très moderne, est conforme aux photos. La literie est excellente. Il est très agréable et très très bien situé (plein centre, métro à côté, gare de Sao Bento à 5 minutes à pied) . Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour.

Jun 27, 2019Miguels apartment ist perfekt. Standort top, es ist alles zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir waren zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind, dafür war die Wohnung sehr gut. Kaffees und Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke. Die Wohnung ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Jun 27, 2019Super appartement, tres propre,chaleureux, au calme et pourtant en plein centre ville. Il donne sur l’intérieur donc pas de bruit de voitures, le Top !! Les commodités sont a côté : supermarché, metro, bus, shopping, lieux touristiques. Tout peut se faire a pieds sans aucun problème. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésitation.

Jun 27, 2019Miguel is very friendly and kind to us. He explained where to go, where to eat, and helped us to make a plan of sightseeing in Porto. The place is very convenient, but quiet and comfortable. Kitchen with dishwasher and fridge is so useful. Shower room is ok with plenty of hot water flow. We are coming back here when we visit Porto again. Thank you.

Just wished there was a place to put toiletries in the bathroom and perhaps a larger sink. The location is perfect! Nice little balcony but no view. We would definitely sat again and would recommend this apartment!
Jun 27, 2019Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten Sie immer kontaktieren. Die Lage ist mittendrin und doch ruhig. Die Loft ist zum wohlfühlen und für einen Städtetripp ein genialer Ausgangspunkt. Man hat alles in nächster Nähe und kann es zu Fuß erreichen.

Unweit entfernt ist die Metro Station Bolhão, die Altstadt kann zu Fuß erkundet werden und ein Supermarkt befindet sich ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Wohnung bietet ausreichend Platz für zwei Personen. Kann ich guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen.
Jun 27, 2019L’appartement est très beau, fonctionnel et très bien placé, proche du métro qui emmène à l’aéroport. Miguel a été très disponible pour nous et nous a donné plein d’infos sur la ville. Si je reviens à porto, c’est là que j’irais sans hésiter!

The kitchen is small but smartly laid out, with a beautiful marble-like countertop. The apartment was nicely decorated and felt trendy. It’s also in a great location, but lots of stores and restaurants close by. Joao met us to check in and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!
