Neighborhood Overview
Copacabana beach is located in a district of the same name in the South of Rio. Copacabana has bike racks, bike path, kiosks, hotels, bars and restaurants frequented both day and night. It also has two military forts, one at each end of the beach, with panoramic views, open to visitation. Dumont was very helpful with tips and advise about Rio. The apartment is very modern and clean. And so close to Copacabana beach. Just 3 blocks away. It has the benifet of being in an aparthotel. More private than we were expecting given it is listed as a private room. This was more like a hotel room at a fraction of the cost. We would highly recommend and come again if we return to Rio.
Jun 27, 2019We really loved our experience staying here. It was our first time to Brazil and we could not have picked a better place. The apartment is modern and clean and well equipped with en suite plus fridge and microwave. The apartment block is very swoosh with 24 hour reception and doorman, and the location is good too. It felt very safe and has excellent transport links on bus and metro within 2-5 minute walk, plus tourist information office is just 200 meters away. This is a very private space, just like a hotel room with maid service to come and clean each day. Downstairs is a place for buffet breakfast for ~$4. Dumont and Sandra were very helpful too, keeping in touch with email with lots of great advice. It felt like home from home and we would definitely stay here again if we came back to Rio.
Jun 27, 2019Maravilhosa experiencia em Copacabana, fora a localização que por si só já e maravilhosa, as instalações são ótimas, quarto harmonioso, confortável, ducha sensacional, ao lado de shopping e muito próximo a praia, nem usei o carro devido fácil localização. Anfitrião muito educado e prestativo. Super recomendo.

La descripción corresponde, caen cómodamente dos huésped, la playa está muy cerca al igual que el centro comercial, el metro está un poco más alejado. El barrio es tranquilo, transitamos sin problema en todo horario. En resumen recomiendo el hospedaje.

Eu e minha esposa nos sentimos completamente a vontade. Uma ótima localidade. Tem tudo que precisamos por perto: Praia, Shopping, Restaurantes, Bancos, Metrô. Me surpreendeu a segurança do local. O hotel fica próximo ao túnel que dá acesso ao shopping e possui policiamento 24h. A anfitriã Sandra foi super solícita com tudo que precisamos, inclusive no deu dicas de vários lugares e restaurantes. Extremamente recomendado.
Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. When we checked in, Sandra was already waiting for us, patiently helping with the apartment and with useful hints. For laundry We can really recommend "Edna" just a block away from the apartment. The bathroom is all new and a real eyecatcher. Being in second row, the apartment is calm though close to the busy Av. Pr. Isabel. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommended the place to friends and collegues.

O quarto era tudo o que nós precisávamos: espaçoso, limpo, aconchegante e pretíssimo da praia de Copacabana. A localização do apartamento não poderia ter sido melhor: pertinho do Pão de Açúcar, do shopping e dois blocos da praia. A Sandra foi muito atenciosa e nos deu todas as dicas para aproveitarmos o Rio. Estamos planejando nossa volta para o Brasil, e ficaremos com a Sandra se viermos ao Rio :-)
Jun 27, 2019Sandra and Dumont were a great host. They made it feel like home. They answered our questions and give us some advice and where to go. They made sure that we were doing great while we were in Rio. The studio was very clean. There's a housekeeper that cleans the room everyday (we only asked her to clean our room once in 4 nights). Wifi was fast. The location was awesome it's close to everywhere. 3 blocks from Copacabana beach, 3 mins walk to the mall, about 5 mins walk to Subway station. Definitely will stay here again. El departamento es súper cómodo, ellugar queda en una ubicación ideal, a 300 mtrs de la playa de Copacabana (límite con Leme) y próximo de muchas paradas tanto de colectivo como de metro (es muuut fácil y barato moverse en colectivo en Río). Sandra es una anfitriona de primera. Ni bien nos recibió nos recomendó atracciones y estuvo siempre a disposición. Más que recomendable!

I have a short stay, but all the way Sandra was in communication, giving tips in what to do in Rio de Janeiro and even reminded me that the International Airport was going to be chaotic with the Olympic games which allow me to arrive with proper time to take my flight. The description is accurate, actually Sandra forgot to mention that it has swimming pool, gym and sauna. The location of the Hotel is very nice, close to the beach.

Fui muito bem recebido pela Sandra e pelo Dumont que além de me explicarem o funcionamento do prédio e da suíte, me deram dicas sobre a cidade. Não tenho dúvidas de que quando voltar ao Rio, ficarei hospedado aqui novamente.

Jun 27, 2019Excelente! O preço é muito bom, uma ótima localização, próximo de tudo, principalmente da praia. O apto é limpo, o banheiro tem um ótimo chuveiro, muito confortável e bem equipado. Apesar de ser próximo da avenida o quarto é bem silencioso. Os anfitriões são muito simpáticos e atenciosos.

It is very conveniently situated near Copacabana beach and an easy walk to the metro and buses and the praca do Lido, where vans leave for Christ the redeemer. There are plenty of restaurents and supermarkets nearby. We did not meet Dumont but checking in was easy at the reception desk and Dumont was very helpful by e mail and gave us good advice about where to go and getting to the airport. We would definitely stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019I had a great time with Dumont and Sandra! The appartment lies on a 10 minutes walk from Copacabana beach and close to everything you need like a little supermarket & restaurants. As I flew in in the weekend there was a big warm welcome and a spontanious invite to ride me through down town Rio and the surburbs on sundaymorning! I understand they are qualified as superhosts! There nothing less, thanks for a great time! I'll be sure coming back one time!

The location is very good, within walking distance of Copacabana beach and a major shopping center. Lots of good restaurants nearby too. The wifi is first class - high speed and constant. Bathroom large. Air conditioning in perfect state. Overall, a very comfortable option and excellent value for money.

Er hat uns persönlich empfangen, uns die Stadt gezeigt und mit uns mehrmals getroffen. Bei jeder Angelegenheit war er hilfsbereit und sofort da. Ich bin begeistert und kann nur weiterempfehlen! Jun 27, 2019I dealt with Sandra who was very accommodating and a good host. She had good recommendations for our stay in Rio. The apartment had all the basics that we needed, and was clean. The facilities in the building (gym and pool) were a good addition to our stay. The location was only a short walk to the beach in what felt like a safe neighbourhood. It is a little bit further away from the main part of Copacabana, but still relatively close and only a cheap Uber fare away. It's also close to a subway station which was handy for when we did our sightseeing. All in all a great place to stay with friendly hosts.

Jun 27, 2019Excelente todo! La ubicación es muy buena, a tres cuadras de la playa de Copacabana y con mucha locomoción. El check in y el check out fue muy cómodo y sencillo. El apartamento es tal como se muestra en las fotos, tiene todo lo indispensable para pasar una buena estadía. La ducha del baño es genial! Además de todo, Sandra es muy buena anfitriona y muy amable, se comunicó conmigo de manera justa y siempre con buena disposición. Todo genial! Sin duda alguna volveríamos aquí!

Definitely walking distance to Copacabana beach (no more than 7 minutes by walking). As an experienced traveler, I would highly recommend staying here.

Jun 27, 2019This was an amazing stay and not enough words can be said about how nice Dumont and Sandra are. They go above and beyond to ensure comfort and a good stay. The room is more or less a hotel. It is serviced if you want it serviced. There are great amenities you can use like a nice gym (gym's in Rio are expensive so it is very worth it), saunas, a pool, pool table/ping pong tables, and onsite laundry at a reasonable price. The location is nice, as it is close to the beach but not too far of a drive from Centro. Cheap ubers get you around all of Rio quickly. Maybe a 7 minute walk to the beach. Restaurant downstairs is pretty good as well! On my next trip to Rio I will definitely see if this place is available.

Just 5 min walk straight to the beach. It's very clean and neat. Oh and never underestimate the Power of a perfect Shower, haha. The bathroom and Shower is just amazing. From the apartment you get fast to every location you want. For Rio newbees it's the perfect match to stay

Jun 27, 2019This was a great flat, exactly what one needs for one week in Rio! Super close to the beach and various supermarkets, clean, cosy, confu bed and a good shower! The host was super welcoming and thoughtful (there was a note with our names and he length of our stay in the room and a “welcome” message). Couldn’t have asked for anything else!

My husband and i are having our honeymoon and she prepared a small welcome note and a bottle of wine for us. We appreciated it so much. The place is very near to the beach and accessible to everything. We love staying here. The room feels like 5 star hotel. 'Til next time. Cheers!

Hay lugares para comer cerca, recomiendo “Galeto Sats”. La atención de Sandra impecable, siempre atenta y disponible para nuestras inquietudes.

Gostei muito da limpeza do local, a facilidade e proximidade para visitar o Cristo e o Pão de Açúcar. Ao lado fica a praia do Leme e logo abaixo a praia de Ipanema e Leblon. Valeu a pena cada momento no Rio de Janeiro. PS. A ducha do flat e extraordinária.

Passei o feriado muito bem e foi um dos melhores aniversários que ja tive, amo o (Website hidden by Airbnb) relaçao ao espaço nao tenho queixas, muito limpo, confortavel e bem organizado. A localizaçao é perfeita, bem próximo da praia de Copacabana, e com shopping, mercado, farmacia, etc tudo muito perto. O hotel em si é muito bom e fomos muito bem atendidos sempre tanto pela Sandra e Dumont quanto pela equipe de atendimento do hotel. Além disso o hotel conta com uma piscina aquecida muito boa, sauna que sao ótimos depois de uma praia e um restanrante com comida boa e relativamente barata! Pude conhecer o Cristo, Pao de açúcar, Pedra do Arpoador, praias de Ipanema, Copacabana e Maracanã. Recomendo muito a todos pela ótima estadia que tive!

Jun 27, 2019Sandra y Dumont muy preocupados de nosotros. El departamento queda a un par de cuadras de Copacabana prácticamente a pie. Todo muy limpio y nos ayudaron para encontrar paseos en Rio. Muy preocupados todo un 10 recomendado!!

Jun 27, 2019Nuestra estadía fue genial. La habitación es muy cómoda, todos los detalles previstos y la ubicación es muy conveniente. La habitación contaba con detalles que nos fueron muy útiles como por ejemplo adaptadores. Muy recomendable.
